Secret Paws Revealed 2018

Hola kitties! Every year the Cat Blogosphere has a Secret Paws coordinated by Truffle and Brulee's Mom Paula. I think every year I'm more excited to know who my gifts came from than what's actually in the box even though I've never been disappointed by the contents. Na mean? Wait till you see who this year's Secret Paws was from! You'll be as excited as I was. I want to apologize cos the peeps totally fu messed up the photos.

It was the famous therapy cat, model and champion show cat Summer Samba from Sparklecat.com, along with Binga and Boodie! I almost fell out of my cat tree when TW brought the box in and told me. Summer knows the best toys and the best nip cos she lives in California and recreational nip is legal there. This was gonna be some potent stuff.

Indeed it was. There were my favorite treats, Greenies SmartBites in my favorite flavor. TW wouldn't open the new package cos I had one already open. What's that all about? And toys! I can't wait to see how long it's gonna take TW to step on and crush my new crinkle balls and springs. She's famous for crushing them, you know. She can't step around them; only on them.

I also got a primo silvervine sock that I love and some silvervine sticks. The nip and vine were divine just like I suspected!  I've never been a niphead but these were really potent cos it's legal now in CA. Summer sent some tissue paper cos she knows how much us cats love the old TP. I rolled and rolled around on the tissue with my new legal nip. I can't wait until nip is legal here.

Did I mention tissue paper? Oh yeah, in the last paragraph. There were several in shades of red and green of course. Summer is no slouch. She's a fashionista who knows her colors. TW actually took a great video of me playing in the TP which I may post at the end.

OK, I'll admit that I got totally nipped up. OK, I'll also admit I tried crawling into the mailer. I was high as a kite and feeling no pain. [Alert: Run-on sentence coming up.] TW has a fun video of this but she can't publish it cos as you can see, the label side is up and she doesn't have equipment to blur it in the video so you'll have to be satisfied with the still.

Can you see my nipped-up cat face above? Unfortunately there is no video or images from what transpired next. TW heard such a clatter. She arose from her chair to see what was the matter just in time to prevent me from going off the cabinet. I'd leapt over the back of the couch and my momentum dragged me across the cabinet behind it. Everything flew off the cabinet except me cos TW stopped my momentum. Next I tried to leap onto my pink perch and missed badly. I was nip blind. Not bad for a kitteh of 14 years.

I calmed down for awhile but was ready to play again around 1 a.m. when TW wanted to go to bed. I ran through the condo, jumped into the new cat tree, got down, leapt over the stack of human gifts under the tree, smelled the tree and leapt back the other way. After TW turned out the light at 2:30 a.m., I sang the songs of my people cos I needed her to chase me.

TW thanks Summer and her human for the wonderful gray cat scarf in the pic below and Summer magnet which now has a place of honor on the front door right next to POTUS 44. Everyone and everything near and dear to our hearts is up there.

Thank you Summer, Binga, Boodie and your human for a pawsome Secret Paws' package although I think Pop was disappointed Binga wasn't in there although I've told him a billion times I want to be an only cat.
