Meowy Christmas!

Hola kitties! Meowy Catmas! I'm gonna make this short and sweet but first a short story of lies and deceit. Can you believe Santa Claus stood the peeps up? Santa Claus of all elves! If you remember, the peeps are just getting over strep and bronchitis but they wanted to go out and admire the local lights and decorations. This became sweeter when they learned the Santa parade would be arriving in our part of town between 7:30 and 8:15 last night.

They left the condo at about 7 p.m. to admire the neighborhood decor and see Santa. They waited until after 8 but no sign of Santa. They finally came in to warm up … and Santa? He finally came by about 10:05. We saw him drive out of sight from the window.

This is my snail-mail card from this year. TW had seen so many images of the red truck with the Christmas tree that she wanted to create a similar image. We saw this blue truck with the tree on depositphotos and liked it. The other day the peeps actually saw a red truck but instead of a tree, it had a refrigerator in the back. MOL!

    Santa came to the house in Midway last night in a Fire Truck!!!
    Mom says it is a village tradition. He visits all the houses in town. He gave us candy canes and dog treats and cat treats!!!

    Well, we hope that you all enjoyed a Meowy Catmas, and when we drove around the neighborhood last night to take in the lighting displays, we found our favorite one was gone, and many others very much downsized. Since we don't put up lights at all, we've got nuthin' to complain about....
