Polaroid Love

Hola kitties! What's up? I usually don't post Sunday but since I won't see you till Tuesday, I decided to put something up today. I'm sure the five of you who visit were getting tired of viewing the Friday post. I'm showing some Polaroid Love. Do you remember the old One Steps?
Polaroid Love
Grampa used to like taking photos but it would take him years to finish one roll of film. There would be Easter, Christmas and the next year's Easter pics on one roll of film. TW decided to get him a Polaroid so they could see the pics right after he took them.

Polaroid Love

Of course Grampa is long gone as is his Polaroid camera. Nevertheless, in the land of Make Believe I "found" his old One Step and starting clicking away. It was too big for me to hold so I had to put it on the table while I jumped on my cat tree. Check out these snaps I took. Gotta say those Polaroid don't take very sharp pics.

Oh well. Have a nice Sunday. Thanks to Kitties Blue for hosting the Sunday Selfies. I'll see you Tuesday with my annual 9/11Remembrance post. Hope you'll come by.

  2. Oh wow, I love the effect the polaroids make. CK you sure to show up very well, even if on some of them you look like Mrs H has been trying to help. It would take us weeks to do a series like that, and probably run out of that flash powder we use, or set the curtains on fire, again, in the process, MOL

  8. Those are fantastic ;-) The Human loved Polaroids and one of her MUCH younger colleagues bought a new one last year--she guesses they are making them again. Your Human has gotten very very fancy with her computer skills, CK. I guess you must have taught her everything you know? I am sorry to be so lousy at commenting--the Human and I agreed we are going to try committing to at least once a week but she has been such a fail in the past, I don't know if I trust her anymore. Love you. XOXO

  10. I love the Polaroid effect, CK! We have Polaroid type cameras for therapy visits that were gifted to us by an entertainment industry foundation. My human used ours several times today.

  11. Cathy & Keisha,

I do remember the old one touch Polaroid cameras. In fact, my grandma & grandpa got me one for Christmas when I was young. Unfortunately, my parents couldn't afford to buy the film cartridges on a regular basis which led to discontent and I don't know what happen to it after that. I'm so thankful we now live in the digital age. I can take a zillion pictures to capture one good photo without any additional cost. :) Have a fototastic & pAwesome week!

  12. Awesome photos! Our Mom misses those cameras, but not when they suddenly stopped working like hers always did. She remembers how expensive they were, and the film costs! Yikes! Nowadays, that cost would be practically nothing compared to what people pay for phones with cameras!
