Air Ducks Attack Our Condo!

Hola kitties! I have some condo news for you. Apparently the water damage around the window wasn't the source of the moldy, mildewy odor in Pop's room. Nothing is ever as it seems or easy.

Air Ducks Attack Our Condo!

Pop failed to tell TW that it was actually coming from one of the air vents in his room. *shakes head* Now there's talk of those air ducks in our vents. Yes, we have air ducks again and they need to be cleaned and sanitized so they don't smell. They must have done poos and not covered them or something. They could possibly have eaten some bad romaine lettuce and gotten sick. Who knows but they have to go. I don't know who invited them in the first place.

Air Ducks Attack Our Condo!

TW got a recommendation on NextDoor for a service that will flush those air ducks out and they're coming tomorrow. As you may recall, the last time those ducks were cleaned, it traumatized me to the point where I now hide when anyone rings the bell and it's not meal time. It's gonna take a lot of green papers but the peeps say it has to be done. Once those ducks take over, I'll bet they suck all the air outta the vents. Soon they'll suck all the clean air outta our condo. We'll die and they'll take over!

Pray to Ceiling Cat that this service isn't as loud as the last one and Pop will stay home so I'm not re-traumatized. Did air ducks ever take over your house and how did you get rid of them?

  2. Oh noes, CK! The Hubby has talked and talked and talked and talked about getting our air ducts cleaned, but so far, no dice. And he's the one who's been sneezing up a storm, but hey... Hope you make it through this new disturbance with minimal upset, sweet kitty!

  3. Pumpkin here. We had to get rid of air ducks, but the sucking machine was outside in a truck, so the house wasn't noisy. I guess when you live in a condo, the noisy machine has to come inside. Maybe TW should get you some earplugs. *hugs*

  8. Oh no! I hope those air ducks leave without too much of a fight and don't make too much noise.

  9. I hope you're able to fix the problem without too much trouble! (I've been avoiding romaine lettuce all summer, and I love it too!)

  10. Oh yeah, not a fan of air ducks either. We have them, too, and they need to be vacuumed and we keep putting it off because I know Ruby will freak out. Rosie is deaf so probably wouldn't bother her too much.

  11. Ugh! Yes, those air ducks are crazy loud when they have to be cleaned. We are sorry, and hope it goes as smoothy and uneventfully as possible tomorrow!

  12. Ugh, that sounds awful! The ducts around here are newer, so it will be a while before anything needs to be done about them.

  13. Air Ducks?? Good heavens, get yourself some duck tape and trap them in it! You need some kitty ear plugs when those duck cleaners come...

  14. CK this sounds scary. I would keep an eye on the people coming to do the work and TW can smother them in duck dung if they are not quiet.

  16. Thankfully we haven't had air ducks taking over our place so far. I hope the service this time won't be too loud.

  17. Oh no! Air duct cleaning can definitely be scary! They bring in those loud machines and tromp all through the house! I hope this time isn't as bad, though!
