Treat Your Cat to the Best Sandbox in Town #ChewyInfluencer

Treat Your Cat to the Best Sandbox in Town #ChewyInfluencer

I was bugging TW that she needed to buy more litter a few weeks ago cos I only had like two 40-lb bags left. That may seem like a lot for one cat but if the peeps can have eight cases of bottled water, I can have lots more litter.

Chewy to the rescue! Our #ChewyInfluencers' mailing offered a bag of Frisco™ clumping litter for review purposes. TW jumped on it. You may not have heard of Frisco litter because it's available exclusively at Chewy.com.

The peeps and I love this litter. I have two litter boxes. For the past two months, TW has had the little box in Pop's bathroom filled with a clay-alternative litter. I've used it approximately five times and have been depositing my loads into the big cadilliac of a litter box in the hall.

As soon as we received the Frisco litter, TW poured the crap litter outta the little box, washed it thoroughly and filled it with the new litter. She didn't think she needed to transition me to the Frisco litter and she was right. It didn't take me long to discover there was real litter in the box again. I now had two working boxes again, including the best sand box in town!

Frisco litter is made in Canada and it's fragrance-free so there's no stinky perfume smell but TW said she can't really smell when I do poo's in it until she gets them in the scoop. It clumps nicely and the clumps don't stick to the side of the box which is a yuge plus. As far as tracking? Fuhgettaboutit! I've used the box for a couple of weeks and the image above illustrates how little litter is tracked onto the mat. TW also says our navy blue box doesn't have litter dust all over it like with many of the other litters we've tried.

Let's examine the companies' claims one by one.
😽  Around-the-clock, superior odor control. Yep, peeps can't smell that I've used the box until they scoop it.
😽  Instantly fights ammonia odors. Testify sistah!
😽  99% dust free and all-natural. As noted above, TW said there's no dust on top of the box or on the sides.
😽  No fragrances, perfumes or dyes. Both peeps and myself are enjoying not breathing in smelly perfumes and toxic fragrances and dyes that irritate our asthmatic lungs.
😽  Low tracking and hard clumping. Yes and Yes. The vacuum is no longer picking up litter all over Pop's room. The clumps are firm but don't stick to the side of the box so they're easy to scoop.
😽  Odor-neutralizing technology. Sniff, sniff. Yeah, we can hold our heads a little higher without holding our noses.
😽  Ideal for multiple-cat households. We can't vouch for that since I'm an only cat but it works for us.
As you can see, we can vouch for their claims. We will no doubt be adding this litter to our autoship so we can fill up the big box too. Gonna take a lotta litter to fill that. Of course we have 80-lbs of litter to use first.

Frisco is available exclusively from chewy.com in 40-lb bags for only $13.15 which is a real steal for litter this good. In fact, right now you can order a bag for just $5.99! Limit one to a customer and discount will be applied at checkout. Chewy has great customer service and free one- or two-day shipping on orders over $49.

A box filled with Frisco Scoopable Cat Litter is like a day at the beach without getting salt water in your furs.

I'm glad Chewy.com has litter now, I don't have a car so it's hard for me to get cat litter. I already order my dog and cat food from them.

I am sure you deserve only the best letter CK. I just got litter from Chewy although not this kind.

It sounds good - except my human refuses to use clay litter! So we have use other strata.

We trust your instincts, CK, but it isn't available here. We use biological litter, for my paws :) Pawkisses for a Happy Day :) <3

That was a really good review CK, thanks for the scoop!

That is really a small amount of litter tracked out of the box. Usually my boys track more litters out on the floor. Sounds like a great litter!

Hey, that litter sounds like just the thing our Dad would love to investigate! Not for him, silly. For us! Great review! We'll send our Dad right over!

Wow, C.K., that stuff sounds great. It sounds like the litter from Lucy Pet Products, which we really liked. But the Frisco is way less expensive. We're going to have mom get us one of those $5.99 bags and give it a "go." MOL! XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo

That litter sounds great! I didn't know it was a Chewy exclusive. I would've requested it if I weren't committed to the Arm & Hammer campaign.

Changing "crap" to "litter" is magic, CK! :)
I've been frustrated because it seems like every litter is either good at clumping or better at not tracking. I haven't found a decent compromise ... but this just might be it :)

Huh. Well, you has got me and the Human intrigued. For several years, we have been using World's Best--we are kind superstitious about it. I had three abscessed anal glands in four years, and then for no particular reason, we started sing the World's Best and I never had another one--now, the two things probably have nothing to do with each other, but . . . Still, the lack of tracking is really really REALLY appealing to the Human (me, I am not the least concerned about it), so we are giving it some thought. XOXOXOXO

Wow, this sounds like an awesome litter and you can't beat that sale price! I just had a Chewy order ship...wish I'd have read this review first!

hmmm now that litter sounds pretty nice. Great price point as well. We are still using that really heavy Dr Elsey's Precious Cat litter. It still has more dust than Mom L likes. We might have to order a bag and give it a try.
