Feral New Year!

Hola kitties! Happy New Year! Sunday is the start of a brand new year. My "brand new starts" are usually same old, same old. I thought I'd be reviewing my Secret Paws today and not talking about an unwanted visit to the stabby place. The peeps said that was the last place they thought they'd be spending their Wednesday, how do they think *I* felt?

Feral New Year!

Yeah, I'd been sneezing and sniffling for a couple of days but I didn't expect to be punished for it. No photos were taken and instead of rehashing old pics at the stabby place, I'm just gonna go with New Year's images.

Feral Friday: We're Going Where???

Hola kitties! I hope you had a good week. Mine started out not so good. I was blindsided! Yes I was. This morning I was subjected to my annual trip to hell trip to the V-E-T. I was rammed into my PTU and whisked away before I could realize what was happening. Usually I have a clue by hearing TW make the appointment over the phone but this was a total surprise. Is the pandemic over already? They told me I wouldn't have to go unless one of them could come in with me. That one turned out to be Pop who doesn't write this blog.

Feral Friday: Drugged & Dragged to the Vet

Hola kitties! What a fun day I had yesterday! I can hardly speak of the indignities endured by your stunning feral furrend—ME. I can hardly speak at all as a matter of fact. I was handled roughly and unfairly. I was drugged and dragged to the vet even though I've been fine. Even my asthma has been behaving itself.

G-d Save the Cat (I Mean it Man!)

Hola kitties! Saturday didn't quite go as planned. TW and Pop got up early—well Pop gets up early every day but not TW. They did me wrong. Very wrong.

G-d Save the Cat (I Mean it Man!)

I got up for breakfast around 4:15 a.m. Then when I woke up again at 7 a.m. TW was preparing a second breakfast for me. Score! Right? No it tasted funny and there was hard, bitter white specks in it. I tried to eat around the biggest piece. Then we both went back to bed.

Dateline: last Wednesday. The cat ponders. "Hmmm, it's Wednesday and Pop isn't getting ready for work. I hope he isn't sick or hasn't gotten downsized. Maybe he's just taking some me-time otherwise known as PTO, unless 45 has signed an executive order doing away with paid time off. I'll just keep aware of my surroundings until I find out what's happening."

What is happening? Will it affect The Cat? Would there be a blog post if it didn't?

48 Hours

48 Hours

Your old stunning pal CK had a rough and trying day Monday although Tuesday was even worse. Lemme start at the beginning. Sunday night I was lethargic and I went to bed early. TW was awake with me all night because she knew we were in for a scorcher weather-wise and I wasn't feeling well. She was waiting for me to start coughing. We were both restless. I'd toss; she'd turn and so it went until about 4:15.

CK’s Nightmare on County Avenue

After a couple of days I’d rather forget, I found myself caged like a wild animal in a zoo in a PTU sitting on a table in the Secaucus Animal Hospital. I didn’t know how I got there but I fought the entire way. The song of my people was still ringing in the ears of my peeps, traitors that they are. I expected the worst even though I kinda have a rapport with Dr. D.
