Feral Friday: Something to Kibble About

Hola kitties! Here comes the weekend so here comes the Keisha! We had a Petco gut rot delivery this week. I'm thrilled—maybe. We ordered nine boxes of pouches and one toy. Guess how many shipments came? Six—and we had to message them since one box that was listed on the packing slip wasn't enclosed. Not only that but they threw the pouches into one of the boxes like garbage. Sigh! But I have something else to kibble, er, quibble about.

Feral Friday : Something to Kibble About

The peeps are upset at the amount of kibble I've been eating. This isn't a plug for any brand cos every food I eat is bought and paid for by my peeps. I won't even name brands. You can message me for them. My go-to fave kibble is a brand Summer has posed for that I once reviewed. It was on our auto delivery but Chewy was out of it. Bummer! Before TW realized—DUH—she could buy it for less on Amazon, she found something else to replace it with. Gotta hand it to her that she picked a winner.

Feral Friday : Something to Kibble About

One of the first reviews I ever did was for a certain brand with a name similar to a book for humans. I haven't had this brand in years. I used to love that kibble too. I eat grain-free and they never had a grain-free version until now. She placed the order and "filled" my dish. By filled I mean a measly 1/4-cup. How pathetic is that?

Feral Friday : Something to Kibble About

I went to town on that food. Heh heh! I didn't stop when she replaced it with my go-to brand either. Now she's upset that I'm not eating much of my stinky goodness. Why should I? She created a kibble eating monster! (Images are file footage.)

Friendly Fill-ins

Now it's time for Friendly Fill-Ins, a weekly feature held at this time, which is already in progress. Our hosts—15andmeowing and Four Legged Furballs—need no innerductions as they are giants in the cat blogging world. They think up the fill-ins and I fill in the answers. My answers are boldface. This week my image relates to number one.

Feral Friday : Something to Kibble About

1. I love that there are no consequences to biting Pop. If I bite TW, she doesn't look at me for hours or until my stunningness overwhelms her. Pop sounds mad but he's not.

2. To celebrate pi day on Monday, I will have a slice of kibble pie. I don't like pie. I do like kibble. I don't even eat pizza. The peeps don't like pie that much either and they prolly wouldn't get a pizza since every takeout place around here is closed on Monday.

3. I'd like to be able to eat fishy food every day. TW says too much fish isn't good so she varies my proteins. In one day I can have beef, chicken and fish. The only pork I get is if I can mooch their holiday ham.

4. If I ended up in jail, it would probably be because I mugged one of the food delivery men. I always dream of doing that but the peeps try to keep me away from the door.

Caturday Art

I've created some stunning St. Paddy's Day art this week. I had a really hard time picking one for this post so I decided to use the other as the puzzle.

Feral Friday : Something to Kibble About

Caturday Art is hosted by the lovely Athena Cat Goddess Wise Kitty and her mum to showcase the latest art by anipal artists using the many different digital apps, Photoshop or original art.

  1. My human loves pie! Including pizza. Pi day is her dream holiday. She may even make a pie.

P.S. You are lucky. I don't ever get kibble to eat. Except when I'm getting paid to eat it.

  2. Kibble, what's that? Me only eats mushy stuff and cause mine Mommy can't find fancy feast anymore, well, like hardly ever, 'cept beef I don't eat, she got me Rachel's Nutrish which she said cost a lot more so I should eat slow and savor. Ha, gone in a NJ minute, ohcod good stuff, I hope she never finds FF again. I am worth the good $tuff fur sure. But not to worry, I am a very good biter and as there is no Pop to bite I choose her all the time, but then I run and hide so she can't give the ignoring-you look of disdain. I claw with vigor as well, it is fun to do. It does get the attention required at any given moment. Have you tried that? Gotta go now, she is off to the toofs doctor, not me, mine are good, hers are not, she is old. Too bad. I hope you are good, well, happy. Lookin' good in green, didya find a pot o gold?

  11. I am glad TW was able to find you some kibble online. I just ordered from Petco for Sammy's special diet because Chewy was out of stock. I hope they package it better than yours was packaged. Thanks for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. I am glad Pop is so forgiving of your biting. I forgot pizza counts as pie- I want pizza Monday. I love your art- you look extra stunning. Hope you have a nice St. Patty's Day. XO

  12. Your artwork is awesome! I, Jake Housepanther, have decided that I don't like the Fancy Feast anymore. So I have a quarter cup of kibble to eat when I don't like what the Can Opener has put in my dish. She tries to tell me that canned food costs as much as gold, but what do I care? I'm a cat, I do what I want. Have a good weekend! We are sending healing thoughts for TW.

  17. Yep, her fault for creating the kibble eating monster! My cats would love to eat more kibble. It's an evening treat/snack for them but not their main meal. Woodrow goes crazy for kibble.
