Hola kitties and Happy Easter to those who celebrate it. Most years the coming of Easter mostly meant the peeps more or less went vegetarian during Lent which doesn't please me. It did mean that it's one of the two times during the year, they make a ham. Ham is a special fave of mine. This year *I* get to celebrate Easter the right way and not with a 'shopped basket like the lead image!
That's right. CK got an Easter basket! Don't be jelly. It's not homemade like Summer's basket but I enjoyed getting it nonetheless. It meant someone cared enough.
Of course, I didn't enjoy posing with it so I'm 'shopped into the image above.
Look at all the primo stuff in here! I've never tried this kind of food but TW says it looks healthy enough. There's four cans of wet food, a heart-shape dish and a scoop for the kibble. In addition to a yellow shmousey toy in the basket, TW also bought some catnip Peeps' bunnies.
The kibble wasn't too bad. Dunno what quinoa is but I think it's an ancient grain. Ancient—like TW.
Friendly Fill-Ins
Now it's time to join the Friendly Fill-Ins, a weekly feature held at this time, which is already in progress. Our hosts—15andmeowing and Four Legged Furballs—need no innerductions as they are giants in the cat blogging world. They think up the fill-ins and I fill in the answers. My answers are underlined and in italics. This week my image relates to fill-in number three.1. Posing with product is such an inconvenience. It's hard enough when we get the product for free but I don't see why I have to pose with an item we paid for like this Easter basket.
2. My favorite part of the Easter
3. I would like to find an Easter egg filled with cat treats. That would be heaven. Maybe some Party Mix Naturals or Temptations.
4. For me, going to the vet is a deal-breaker. I love my Pop but he better not take me to the stabby place. I will fight him tooth and claw. TW has been talking about it more and more. I didn't go last year cos of the pandemic so she sez I have to go soon.
Caturday Art
I sat down and made some Easter art. I posed with the Easter bunny. The distractions were many cos of all the banging and blasting outside the window but I persevered.
This first one is a straight painting.
Then I wondered what would happen if I were to dream and add some fun colors and elements and make a puzzle out of it.
Whoo hooo....your peeps came in time! We were hoping they would.
ReplyDeleteWe had the same answers for a couple of the Fill-ins.
Both versions of your artwork are super. Thanks for the puzzles.
Happy Easter!!

Mom has made quinoa a couple of times and Cinnamon eats it and the puzzle was epic! We hope that you and your peeps have a marvellously happy Easter (And Ham) and next week too!
ReplyDeleteThat is an awesome Easter basket! The only time I've ever had ham is when my human accidentally got it at a restaurant or found it at a breakfast buffet at a hotel. She actually doesn't like ham. Easters growing up were torture for her, and she usually went hungry.
