Unboxing My Secret Paws

Hola kitties. Christmas is over but I've been neglecting my duties posting about Secret Paws. One reason is it arrived post-Christmas. I can't complain much since my package didn't arrive to the recipients until after Christmas either. By some quirk of nature, our packages crossed in the mail since I sent to the same cats who I received from.

Also, sadly, Zoey Island Cat ran away to the Rainbow Bridge right after I received my package. I was in shock and didn't know what to say so I've decided to dedicate this post to her. I know how much Ernie and her humans miss her.

The box was well worth waiting for. It was packed real neat but I was so impatient for TW to start opening the gifts up, my eyes nearly burst outta my head. See how red they are? Why did she have to waste time with a pic of unopened prezzies?

Ernie and Zoey certainly know how to pick toys. Their specialty is anything nip so I have to trust their sense of smell. They sent a green fishie—only this one wasn't sitting around in a drawer for eight years like the one TW gave me—and some flutterballs. I also got some nippy balls that aren't in the pic.

I never really got that much into nip but this kicker was something else.

But soon enough my attention shifted to the tissue paper. The Lady with the Yellow Hair was nice enough to use plenty of TP to wrap all the gifts.

Have I mentioned treats? If you see my head down during the photo shoot, treats was the reason why. Again, TW had never bought the chick-hen-flavor Temptations for me cos she wasn't sure I'd like them. Quick answer: YESSSS! I still haven't tried the Churus so I can't report on them.

There were some gifts for TW also but I found a rogue treat mixed up with them. I wasn't sure I was going to let her have them. After all, this was my Secret Paws and she took long enough ripping everything open. The Lady with the Yellow Hair gifted her with a cute little "Only Cat Lady Things" purse, a fancy box for doodads and two high-quality chocolate bars.

The last gift was one I made sure I gave Pop: a 2020 ornament complete with mask, Lysol and toilet paper. HAH! Kitty is a "sniffer*" but I won't hold that against him. He'd been talking about buying one of those ornaments all through December but never did.

There was also a pretty Christmas card so I'd know who to thank. OMC! I almost forget the blankie on the bottom of the box! That's cos it takes me awhile to get to the point where I'll lay on a new blankie. TW had to put my Spitty blankie on a kitchen chair before I discovered it. I'm sure this pretty blankie will grace a chair soon.

Thank you Island Cats for making this senior kitteh play and act like a kitten again for a few days. Thanks also to Truffle and Brulee and their mom Paula for coordinating Secret Paws once again.
