Flashback Feral Friday From the Tree of Pain

Hola kitties! This Friday—or whenever we get this post out!—is a Flashback Friday flashing back to March 2010. I'll betcha anything that 2010 was a better year than this one.

Flashback Feral Friday From the Tree of Pain

Some of my best photo sessions came when I jumped on the Tree of Pain in the afternoon. I also had some great play sessions as well. Alas, I rarely jump up here anymore. Neither of us feels too much like playing these days.

I sure wish there would have been more play and less picture taking. TW loved how my paw was resting on the platform.

Friendly Fill-ins

Now it's time to join the Friendly Fill-Ins, a weekly feature held at this time, which is already in progress. Our hosts—15andmeowing and Four Legged Furballs—need no innerductions as they are giants in the cat blogging world. They think up the fill-ins and I fill in the answers which are underlined and in italics. Each week my image relates to one of the fill-ins. Today it applies to number two.

1. You will never find dogs in my home. Unfortunately there have been some dog stuffies.

2. Once a year, I celebrate Christmas. Thank Bast I only have to put up with a tree in the condo once a year. I can't get at the Tree of Pain even if I wanted to. Oh sure, I love the prezzies but I get prezzies all year around. You can see in the image above that even my Tunnel of Pain is just thrown on a chair. Oh, the indignities!

3. Biting has gotten me in trouble. Especially with TW. There are no consequences with Pop.

4. The last time I sat on a human lap was when never. Nor have they ever pushed me by picking me up and sitting me in their lap. I appreciate that.

Caturday Art

For the first art piece of October, I used oranges to give it an autumnal look.  Am I hiding a pumpkin in my hidey hole?

Caturday Art is hosted by the lovely Athena Cat Goddess Wise Kitty and her mum to showcase the latest art by anipal artists using the many different digital apps, Photoshop or original art.

  10. Well CK, we thinks you might like having a doggie, they are fun to play with. MOL MOL Yin chased Fenris around the yard. See Fenris barked at Yang for trying to steal his food and Yin didn't like him barking at her brother so she ran up and whapped him on the butt and he took off running and she went after him. Luckily for Fen Yang didn't like Yinny chasing his dog, so he tackled her and then they wrassled for awhile. Fenris wisely came sat on the porch by Mom who was about to fall out of the swing laughing.

  12. Love your autumnal art! You know, Truffles was never a lap kitty either. I'm so glad Mudpie is.

  13. Oh, you're right! That art has a furry autumnal look about it.
Sitting in Mummy's lap - Caspurr loves it, Shimshi and Trixie prefurr sitting NEXT to Mummy for petting and loving. Trixie doesn't mind being picked up but Shimshi will do his best to wriggle out of her arms.

  16. CK never say never about that lap sitting. Miss Fitz was always MIA at night after treat time and then, suddenly, about 2 years ago, she came over to Dad and climbed into his lap. Needless to meow he was surprised. Now it is a happy if not every night thing she enjoys. Night before last she got her motor running so loud it was like WOW. Again something new. Yes CK the day may be coming

  18. Your Fall art is beautiful. We like the autumnal colors.
What is it with Moms and paws?! Every time I'm in the rimmed bed of my perch and rest my paw on the edge, Mom goes camera crazy. She says she can't get the perfect photo of that pose.
