Apparently I was sneezing, sniffling and snorgeling cos of allergies. They're very high this Fall in this part of the world. Like any good cat staff would do, TW started me on a small dose of pred and put a call in to Dr. D. who like any good vet would do, called back promptly. I've been sounding much better although I haven't been eating a lot of the food with the pred in it. On Tuesday I started the THofE thing through the condo.
Friendly Fill-ins
Now it's time to join the Friendly Fill-Ins, a weekly feature held at this time, which is already in progress. Our hosts—15andmeowing and Four Legged Furballs—need no innerductions as they are giants in the cat blogging world. They think up the fill-ins and I fill in the answers which are underlined and in italics. Each week my image relates to one of the fill-ins. Today it applies to number four.1. I have zero interest in vegetables. Didn't I answer this one last week?
2. Note to self: don't get your claw caught in TW's night shirt. It's not a pleasant feeling. As the peeps worked to disengage me, I growled and hissed at them. They were hurting me bad.
3. Rock Lobster Temptationsis are my favorite treat. Of course I enjoy Chinese and Mexican food and lots of stuff Lorraine makes but those aren't treats. TW rotates my treats so these currently aren't in rotation but they better be soon.
4. If I were living in a horror film, I would wreck this town. I would be a zombie cat who ran roughshod through the town and state until I killed all the humans who didn't have cats living with them, not to mention the ones who let their house cats roam the streets and the ones who's cats aren't neutered/spayed and chipped.

Caturday Art
I think I did a good job with the needlework . What do you think?
I tried to cross stitch the copyright line but I failed. I'll have to work on that. These aren't bad first pieces. Maybe I'll make some as holiday presents for my furrends.
Some of you may have noticed I haven't been creating puzzles lately. I've decided since I'm such a prolific artist, I'd like to share some of the works that don't get published on the blog. Every couple of days, I'll be posting a puzzle on my Facebook page unless TW gets way
Caturday Art is hosted by the lovely Athena Cat Goddess Wise Kitty and her mum to showcase the latest art by anipal artists using the many different digital apps, Photoshop or original art.
Feral Cat Day
As a former—but still a little bit—feral cat, I'd be remiss if I didn't mention today is National Feral Cat Day as designated by Alley Cat Allies. We all still have a little feral left in us so don't be afraid to be proud of it like I am. Kudos to every human who feeds, traps and/or takes a feral cat into their homes.
Bear used to LOVE when I got out my sewing. He was RELENTLESS. I actually had to go in the bathroom, close the door and turn on the shower to sew. Of course, he started howling within 5 minutes - but better than him getting tangled up in my thread or trying to run away with some thread (luckily he wasn't interested in eating it - and he never got near it unsupervised).
ReplyDeleteI’d watch that horror film you describe. Although, sounds like #2 might’ve also been a horror film.
ReplyDeleteI'm very glad the Es are Th once again CK! Those were good answers and your art is brilliant!
ReplyDeleteThose are extraordinary! What a talent TW is, and the subject is a beauty too.
ReplyDeleteI think the needlework art looks awesome!
ReplyDeleteThat is really cool art, CK!
ReplyDeleteWe really love your Needlework and those fill-ins are spot on. We love Temptations of any kind. Purrs you feel better soon. Brofur Rumpy is on steroids due to his asthma and is Always Hungry and wild too.
ReplyDeleteGreat artwork. We'll check out the puzzles on your FB page. We've all had times when our claws get caught. It's scary for us and scary for Mom.
ReplyDeleteThe Florida Furkids
I love your fill-ins. So cat like.
ReplyDeleteHave a purrfect day and weekend. My best to your mom. ♥
OMG, these are fabulous pieces of art!
ReplyDeleteI know I follow you on FB...don't want to miss these!
Your needlework at is beautiful. I rarely go on FB but hubby is always on it using my account. I will have to tell him to watch out for your puzzles.
ReplyDeleteYou did a pawsome job with the needlework! I tried to sew something today and stabbed myself no less than 3 times with the needle. This fall has been rough. My allergies have been horrific and Mudpie has been coughing more frequently too.
ReplyDeleteThank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. Sorry you got your claw stuck though, I bet that hurt. I hope you get some of those lobster Temptations soon. I LOVE your art and I am most excited about the puzzles- thank you for making them. XO
ReplyDeleteOh, your needlework art is absolutely stunning!! Very nice.
ReplyDeleteWow..where do I begin with my two cents?? First, the needlepoint. You look ravishing. Not a bad effort a tall!! Hehe Horror movie? I can't see you in one, but if I were to see you, you'd be great and I'd be appawding all of the destruction scenes..Finally, I don't like vegetables, either, but I'll eat a potato chip! - Tom xxxx
ReplyDeleteYour needlework art is fantastic. That's the kind of needlework we could do (we don't have nearly enough patience for the real kind).
ReplyDeleteFill in #4 - yikes! Maybe you could just convert them all to animal-loving cat owners?
Love your needlework!
ReplyDeleteI get my claws stuck in the bed sheet. Not very nice!
Cool art, CK!
ReplyDeleteGlad the pred is helping with those allergies, CK. Your needlework is super cool, and your horror movie sounds scary. Well, not to us because we have cats and don't let them go outside and stuff.
ReplyDeleteYour artwork is Outstanding again, CK, we would love to have a pillow of that. I have to watch my claws too that I won't 'hang into it'...sigh...Great answers on the fill-ins and now let me help you with the bugs. That picture is really scary, well, I think it should be, right ;) 😸Pawkisses for a Happy Sunday🐾😽💞

ReplyDeleteUnlike you, CK, some little girls named Eddy and Tonks don't know what they should and shouldn't mess with. At our house, all needles and string have to be hidden away because those little girls wreak absolute havoc with them. And, of course, fantastic fill-ins! We were hoping for this kind of answer from you on #4!
ReplyDeleteCK! Your needle work ROCKS! We must goes by and does some puzzles when Mom is not so busy! |We has missed stopping by!
ReplyDeleteSending yous and your peeps Kitty Kisses
