Hola kitties! How was your week? I've been kinda sorta under the weather. The peeps keep threatening me with the vet. What can I say? I guess I'm just old much like the peeps. I've been laying around doing artwork lately and I have an idea for a new feature. Dunno if this will catch on or not.
Remember the ill-fated Foto Frenzy where I axed you guys to choose random pics and I ran them unedited? I'd like to do something similar only I'm going to artify the image you select. Does that sound good? This post gonna be all art!
I know youse want to see real unadulterated pics of me too so this will only be a once a month art fest. TW hasn't done any photo shoots with me since Remember Me Thursday so there are no new shots. Pick a number through 9000 and let's begin. I chose one at random.
Friendly Fill-Ins
Now it's time to join the Friendly Fill-Ins, a weekly feature held at this time, which is already in progress. Our hosts—15andmeowing and Four Legged Furballs—need no innerductions as they are giants in the cat blogging world. They think up the fill-ins and I fill in the answers which are underlined and in italics. Each week my image relates to one of the fill-ins. Today it applies to number three.
1. 2006 was a very good year. It was the year I moved into my forever condo.
2. Whenever I sleep soundly, I let TW pet me. So apparently Wednesday morning she claims she fell asleep in the morning hugging me and I put my chin up and moved my body against her arm. As if! There is no photographic proof of this.
3. I look forward to Thanksgiving turkey this time of year. Don't you? In the graphic above, I'm looking for Pop cos the turkey is on the counter waiting to be carved.
4. Vegetables creep
Caturday Art
I thought today I'd show two projects I've been working on using the same out of focus photo and have them be my entries for the Caturday Art blog hop.
I used my Autumn colors in the first but went with kind of a fractal effect on the second. Do you have a favorite?

Caturday Art is hosted by the lovely Athena Cat Goddess Wise Kitty and her mum to showcase the latest art by anipal artists using the many different digital apps, Photoshop or original art.
Cat art makes everything better. Purrs to TW for better days ahead xo
ReplyDeleteI like your #4 answer. Mom and dad give me canned food that has veggies in it, and I'll eat pretty much everything except the little bits of carrot. Not sure why I don't like the carrots.
ReplyDeleteThose were really good answers and we always love your art CK. I'll say number 222 would be good!
ReplyDeleteI like Autumn Colors best, but they are both very good.
ReplyDeleteSweetie is getting used to sleeping on my chest, but I have to turn on my side to sleep...she can't find a good perch then!
We like the second photo best. We pick photo 70.
ReplyDeleteThe Florida Furkids
Lots of nice art this week! I think I like the second picture with the fractal effect the best, CK. Hoping you feel better soon!
ReplyDeleteBummer that TW couldn't get photographic proof of #2. But I believe her!
ReplyDeleteck: I look forward to Thanksgiving turkey this time of year. Don't you? NOE ~~~~~~~~

ReplyDeleteThat is gorgeous art CK. My pick is #775.
ReplyDeleteGreat answers CK and we love that first bitey art. And the Art Art too. Ooo this is confusing for me
ReplyDeleteGreat idea, CK, and lovely art. My favourite is the second. I choose 1551 which is the date and year of my birthday. I had to leave the month out, too many numbers.
ReplyDeleteCool art, CK. We like them both...but maybe the fall color one just a little bit more.
ReplyDeleteGreat artwork CK ! Hope you feel better soon !
ReplyDeleteI always love your art so I think it's a pawsome idea! Please feel better. Hope TW is doing well too.
ReplyDeleteI like that idea. I pick 6447. You look like you want to take the turkey out of the oven by yourself. :) Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. That was sweet of you to let TW hug you. I love your art, both are nice, but I prefer the one on the left. XO
ReplyDeleteHey CK! Wes sorry Wes not been around much the last 2 weeks. Wes LOVES your art (and the Fill-ins)! And what a brilliant idea for your art! That is sort-a kind-a what Wes does. Mom takes horrible pictures!
ReplyDeletePurrs
Marv, Jo Jo, Kozmo and Cinnamon
Both artworks are very nice, CK. So sorry you're under the weather. It's in the air huh😸We believe you, CK and we can picture answer no 2. Sometimes you have to let go of the biteys ;) Healing Pawkisses for a Happy Weekend🐾😽💞
ReplyDeleteNice art work. I think both are nice but #2 is my favorite.
ReplyDeleteLove the more natural autumnal colours of the first but we like the second just a little better!
ReplyDeleteThat art is super cool, CK! We loved your fill-ins, especially #3, with the adorable photo of you looking for Pop to release the turkey.
ReplyDeleteFeel better soon, okay? XO
We love both your Caturday Art pics, CK - but, for some reason, in the second one, you look as if you are planning mischief (mol).
ReplyDeleteAwww to fill-in #2 (despite the lack of evidence).
ReplyDeleteYour art this week is fantastic. You are so creative.
We're sorry we're so late to visit, CK! 2006 was indeed a purrfect year if it brought you to your forever home. And this here human agrees about vegetables. I try to eat them, but I'm just not very good at it. Do you like fruit, CK? I love fruit, but veggies aren't much fun. Pup Astrid also hates veggies. Oh, but our tuxie boy Toby says you should give lettuce a try. He says the crunch factor of lettuce is pretty nice. Purrs!
