Feral Friday Starring You!

Hola kitties! Are you getting all kinds of ready for Halloween? This one shouldn't be as scary since a lot of communities, including our condo community, have banned treat or treating. I knew there had to be a positive to come out of this pandemic.

Feral Friday Starring You!

I'm going to showcase some of the art I've created using your suggestions which means this post is all about me you. Many of you voted yea for this new feature. Let's bring it on!

Feral Friday Starring You!

I've started doing just that. Brian was the first to provide a number so I did his first. Gotta say it came pawsome.

Feral Friday Starring You!

Then the Florida Furkids picked some art out. Hope you guys like the one you chose altho I doubt it since I can't even find myself. (I'm checking out the scratcher under the window.) I used the same paint style on both pieces. Since Mom Sharon loves doing puzzles, I've gifted her with a puzzle for this piece (or at least TW better have made one!).

Friendly Fill-Ins

Now it's time to join the Friendly Fill-Ins, a weekly feature held at this time, which is already in progress. Our hosts—15andmeowing and Four Legged Furballs—need no innerductions as they are giants in the cat blogging world. They think up the fill-ins and I fill in the answers which are underlined and in italics. Each week my image relates to one of the fill-ins. Today it applies to number one.

Feral Friday Starring You!

1. I might eat something tonight. I've been kinda off my food—especially my wet food—lately, even though the image shows me chowing down on wet food.  I think I've been eating enough kibble and drinking from the fountain but TW still isn't satisfied. She has been giving me more kibble cos it's better than not eating. We had a scare cos the supermarket hasn't had Savory Centers—the only wet food I've been eating. After a few weeks, we tried to order from Chewy and they were out of stock too. Right after our autoship shipped, they got them in so they'll be in the one next month.

2. I want to see the heat go on before fall is over. The peeps usually don't turn it on until the first frost and thus far it's only gone down in the 40s at night. They wanted to see Lidl's open before fall is over and it's opening next week. It's taken an entire year of construction but it's opening before fall is over.

3. If my house were haunted, I'd recruit the ghost(s) to raise havoc with me. We actually do have at least one cat ghost. I seen it with my own eyes. I think it's Autumn. Every once in awhile, the peeps will be in the back room when things will start falling in the front room. I'm a helluva ghost buster though.

4. The vet turning me upside down and making me go into respiratory distress is the scariest thing that's ever happened to me. I thought I was going to die. My life passed in front of me. I was only a kitten then so it didn't take long. It seemed like an eternity before I was breathing again.

Caturday Art

Next weekend is All Hallow's Eve so I worked on some holiday art. I wouldn't call it scary though cos I'm in it. It's more of a fun piece.

Feral Friday Starring You!

Caturday Art is hosted by the lovely Athena Cat Goddess Wise Kitty and her mum to showcase the latest art by anipal artists using the many different digital apps, Photoshop or original art.

  1. Your art turned out quite stunning CK! Hey, I think just about everything is haunted by Covid this year MOL! By the way, I'm still getting the Captcha pick the picture stuff, this is my 4th try leaving a comment. Something sure is goofy.

  8. We saw you in that art but like when you are bigger because we like watching you. For the last three years he was with us our Buddy at dry food. He stopped eating and Dad knew he was a reformed kibble addict so... there you go. Purrs sweetness

  9. Crunchy dry food is a treat for me, but now that I've knocked on death's door a few time, I get to eat more of it for nourishment. I get some plain, but Mom also mixes it into my canned food (so it looks like chocolate chip cookie dough) and it entices me to eat. She adds a little water to my canned food so I get more moisture that way too. Adding some refrigerated water to my water bowl has also increased my drinking.
The art filters worked well on those photos. And your big eyes look a little spooky in your halloween art.

  10. All of the art is good. You even have orange paws to match the pumpkins in the last one.

  11. I love your Halloween art! Our heat has only come on a couple times overnight so far. Really hasn't been needed. I always wait as long as I can too. I think we should do trick or treating Mardi Gras style this year!

  12. Nice artwork, CK. Purrfect for Halloween. Our heat went on a couple of weeks ago. The mom is a wimp and doesn’t like to be cold.

  13. I love the box style for comments. CK, was there a medical reason you went into respiratory distress or you were just scared? We would have fainted if that happened to us. Purrs from AngelSmokey8, Butterfly and Peekaboo.

  14. I love all your art, you are so talented. Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers except I am sorry your vet did that to you and sorry Chewy was out of your food. Being that they were out when your order shipped, they should send it now with no shipping charges. I had to looks up Lidls, sounds like Aldis which I like to go to. XO

  15. My human always keeps the lights out on Halloween. She doesn't believe in handing out candy to kids, and besides, their shrill voices hurt her ears. So this year, it will be like all the other years for us.

  16. Hi Keisha! You are looking quite gorgeous, love the Halloween art.

  17. Love your art!

We hope Halloween is cancelled here too. Don't like treat or treaters. The only treats round here are mine!

  18. Both chosen artworks are great, CK and we saw a tail hanging out there in the second one...wonder whose was it...MOL...Your artwork of this week is pumpkinous, I can see that there are many pumpkins in it, plus YourSelfie ;) @4. That must have been the scariest thing ever! 💗Pawkisses for a Happy Sunday and Week ahead🐾😽💞

  19. We love your Halloween art and it is indeed a fun piece and not scary and the artwork Brian picked out is super awesome. You did a brilliant job CK. If TW is still worried about you eating you might try Urgent Care Cat food for awhile, we feed it to Yin and Yang when they were so sick and we really think it helped them survive. It has more calories. It must taste yummy too cause everybody wanted it. We except for Mom, she is weird that way she thinks the idea of eating cat food is disgusting. Here is a link to the food. https://www.hillspet.com/cat-food/pd-ad-canine-feline-canned

  20. All your art is great, this week, CK - but the nicest one is the Halloween piece, at the end. It IS a fun piece, yes indeed. We hope you have an enjoyable Halloween and that you get your appetite back and can enjoy your food again.
Pee Ess: We think enlisting Ghost Kitty and getting up to some High Jinks would be a Great Idea (MOL).

  21. Great art, CK. And we liked your answers, especially #3. Our dad has seen Moosey a few times -- he comes to visit every now and then to let us know he's watching over us. - Gracie and Ava

  22. Pawsome art CK! Living down south, we turn the heater on when it dips into the 60's, yeah - we're whimps!

  23. Your art is masterful, CK! We love how festive you got. And fantastic fill-ins, too! We quite enjoy the idea of CK commanding an army of ghosts to wreak havoc. What fun!
