Feral Friday: What a Week

Hola kitties! On Tuesday Isaias came and paid us a visit. He went and he knocked down trees and wires all over town. Then he turned off our electricity for seven and a half hours. This wasn't right since we paid our bill. I think he might be related to Verona Virus. When the sun came out later in the day and the power didn't, we were treated to a trombone concert by Pink Shoelaces on the porch of the Hippie Mansion. Can you believe a trombone of all instruments! I slept through it. Then Wednesday we didn't have water cos there was a leak or something downstairs. I didn't do it.
Feral Friday: What a Week

Now it's time to join the Friendly Fill-Ins, a weekly feature held at this time, which is already in progress. Our hosts—15andmeowing and Four Legged Furballs need no innerductions as they are giants in the cat blogging world. They think up the fill-ins and I fill in the answers which are underlined and in italics. Any further comments on my part are in italics. Each week my image relates to one of the fill-ins. Today it applies to number four.

Feral Friday: What a Week

1. One word to describe my week is lacking. Lacking electricity. Lacking water.

2. My biggest success has been finding this forever home. Whoever thought this little feral ghetto kitteh would find a forever home and I'd still be here 15 years later? I bite and scratch and they still love me. Crazy but true.

3. Not to brag, but I am the World's Most Stunning Cat. It says so right in my header. Truth.

4. For me, biting is the meaning of life.

Caturday Art

I thought I'd show you one of my first paintings. I've been participating in the Caturday Art Blog Blog for six years and a half year but those first five years my art stunk. Yes, it did. I was just faking it. I find them hard to look at now. This was my first serious attempt at painting. You can see how sloppy my brushstrokes were. Click the image for the puzzle.

Feral Friday: What a Week

It will be my Feral Friday entry in the Caturday Art blog hop which is hosted by the lovely Athena Cat Goddess Wise Kitty and her mum to showcase the latest art by anipal artists using digital apps, Photoshop or original art. No talent? No problemo. There are hundreds of one-click apps for desktop or mobile devices that will turn your photos into digital works of art.

  2. Hello folks. Isias visited us too. We know you didn't do it! He was with us for 2 days and wouldn't leave. We spent a confusing night totally in the dark. then at 3am the 2ne nite we received a shock. Lights came on suddenly and there were strange sounds. Our human was sleeping so we woke her up to tel her about it. Meowing and excited we jumped on her bed all over her furniture. She was not pleased. We hope your human was more gracious about it when her lights returned. Our favorite answer of your fill-ins was #3. It doesn't pay to be modest these days!

  7. We were super lucky that that nasty storm stayed away from us. We're sorry you lost power and then water. We know how awful that is. Great Fill-in answers and we loved the artwork and the puzzle.

  13. The art is fantastic but I like you best as you *really* are! We are sure no one blames you for the hurricane or leaks or nuffing. That would be *completely* unfair! And besides, so what? People are SOOOOO judgmental. Everyone has a little accidente de vez en cuando! XOXOXO

  14. Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. Our power was out for 65 hours! Not fun- we couldn't even flush the toilet. I knew you would get biting into one of the answers. :) I love your art. Thank you for the puzzle. XO

  15. Hey CK!
    |Glad you made it through the Hurricane A-OK! It WAS hot here! We were over 100 and then a cold front blew through! It means it is not too hot to sleep, which is a good thing.
LOVE looking at the old art and I do believe that your pictures have ALWAYS been great

  16. Oh yeah, Isaias came here, too. Very unwelcome visitor. We lost power for only about 6 hours; so many others are still without power here, so we are so lucky. There were even confirmed tornadoes here. Scary! Great answers, CK, and your artwork is superb as always. Hugs to you, TW and Pop.

  17. I'm glad you didn't have to wait too long before your power and water came back on. We were lucky and were one of the few in our area that didn't lose our power in Massachusetts.

  18. We're glad that you are OK after the ISAIAS visit!

We can't believe your art was effur stinky, certainly not if this week's example is anything to go by!

  21. CK, you simply should not have to put up with weeks that are so eventful, and so lacking. After all, you truly are the World's Most Stunning Cat!

  22. Glad your power came back quickly and that you're all safe. I have family in NJ who had no power for a couple days.
