Feral Friday—Safe & Secure

Hola kitties! You guys all dealing with that Verona virus? How about your peeps? Aside from Pop working from home all week, things are pretty normal around here. My peeps were ahead of the curve since they've hoarded TP and water since I've known them and one of the things TW won at bingo a few months ago was hand sanitizer. All they need are masks. Cos both of my peeps are in a high-risk group, TW worries what will become of me if they need to go into hospital together for a few days.

Feral Friday—Safe & Secure

Ever since I had my excellent adventure, I've learned the PTU can be a positive place. When I go in there, I know the door isn't gonna slam shut on me which is funny cos I didn't hang in it down in C100. I have been sleeping in it after my midnight snack and before I hop into TW's bed. The peeps are trying to figure out if I do it cos I feel sick. Heh heh. Peeps! I'm waiting for another excellent adventure!

Feral Friday—Safe & Secure

TW put an old cashmere sweater on the bottom which is soft and comfy. Not many cats get to sleep on cashmere. Once inside of my PTU, I know everything will be alright.

Feral Friday—Safe & Secure

Now it's time to join the Friendly Fill-Ins, a weekly feature held at this time, which is already in progress. Our hosts—15andmeowing and Four Legged Furballs need no innerductions as they are giants in the cat blogging world. They think up the fill-ins and I fill in the answers which are underlined and in italics. Any further comments on my part are in italics. Each week my image relates to one of the fill-ins. Today it applies to number four.

1. I know I am sick when I don't want to play. Usually I'm right there when TW starts shooting the foam rockets but sometimes I feel just a little off so I don't want to chase them. This might be because the weather is too warm or I have a hairball waiting to come out. TW knows she's sick when the day of the week ends in Y. HAH!

2. For St. Patrick's Day, I hope to score some corned of beef. The peeps don't eat beef except on St. Patrick's Day. I think they do it for my benefit cos I love the eating of the green, I mean the eating of the beef.

3. It's been a long time since I've played with Furbie. TW keeps moving them around—yes, there's two of them now—to inspire me but it's been a few days since I've chased them. Against her better judgment, TW gave me a second one when Jessie sent me some new models to test. The new one I have has four legs rather than two. The old adage about too much of a good thing is true.

4. In order to keep hydrated, you have to drink water. For years I didn't drink any water but lately I've been drinking from the fountain sometimes several times in one day. I know TW will cut off my kibble if I don't.

Feral Friday—Safe & Secure

This photo was terrible. TW didn't want to scare me out of the PTU so she turned the flash off which was a problem when she shook the camera a bit. For the pic where I'm sleeping, she braced the camera on the floor. In my dream art and the puzzle, it looks so much better.

It will be my Feral Friday entry in the Caturday Art blog hop which is hosted by the lovely Athena Cat Goddess Wise Kitty and her mum to showcase the latest art by anipal artists using digital apps, Photoshop or original art. No talent? No problemo. There are hundreds of one-click apps for desktop or mobile devices that will turn your photos into digital works of art.

  2. I also keep a lot of TP in. Being in a high risk group with lowered immunity due to my cancer treatment I always carry hand sanitiser wherever I go. It is getting low now and I can't get more anywhere, not even Amazon apart from the obvious rip offs.
Your art is lovely. I like all the blues in it. Thanks for the puzzle too.

  3. Good answers CK! Tell TW the masks are only for when you have the virus so you won't infect others, they do nothing to keep you from getting it. If they stay in until it passes all should be okay. Y'all be safe!!!

  5. People around here are nuts with the hoarding. Mom tried to get some distilled water for her cpap machine and both stores in our neighborhood are out. She has some for now, but not enough if we have to go on lockdown for more than a couple weeks.

She's also high risk, so she ordered extra food and litter in case she's hospitalized and someone else has to care for us. Other than than, the only extra food she bought was some pasta and sauce. She can't believe how much stuff people are buying. They act like they'll be confined for months, not weeks. Silly humans.

  6. Mom is smart to make sure you know your PTU is not a scary place to be. Very smart.

Yes the hording is awful. I wish people would just chill out and think of others. They won't, but we can hope.

Have a purrfect day and weekend. My best to your mom. ♥

  7. The art turned out really well! My human likes to say that with Photoshop, "you CAN polish a turd." She's done that many times, MOL!

  10. I love that you're enjoying your new nap spot and good ol' H2O! I'm trying not to freak out over the virus but worried because of my parents, both over 80, especially if I were to get sick and risk passing it along to them.

  11. Glad you like the ptu now and how cool you have cashmere- I don't even have anything cashmere.
Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers! I am glad you will get some corned beef. I like your art. Thank you for the puzzle. Have a nice weekend and stay healthy. XO

  12. I hope you get to go on another adventure soon! Stores are crazy here as I'm sure they are everywhere. I'm glad I live in an area that has Amazon Fresh and same-day Target delivery. I can just stay home with the kitties.

  13. Oh, CK, people are really getting crazy over here...and stoopid if you asks me...they buy toiletpapurr like crazy, and handwipes or so, but nobody buys what really is good for them: furresh vegetables and fruit and all what's good for the tummy to keepup and build up their immune-system. Fear brings it down you know. We hope you all stay well, just take care of each other💗Will send Healing Pawkisses to each one of you🐾😽💞

  15. You get to sleep on cashmere, CK? Trés fancy!

We are glad you are getting used to the PTU. It's good to ge ready to go if you have to. Please tell TW and Pop that we are thinking of them, and purring they stay healthy. XO

  16. Mummy is also high risk but She refuses to go out on a panic-buying spree.
She prefurrs not to go out at all if it can possibly be avoided - and certainly not to a crowded supermarket.
You take care now, CK - and look after your peeps.

  17. CK, can you please convince Eddy that a PTU is a fun place to hang out and snooze? She doesn't believe me when I tell her that, but instead believes quite the opposite. Maybe she'd believe you, though. And we're shocked you've abandoned your beloved Furbie! Hopefully this is temporary and you grow to miss your Furbie soon. Purrs and well wishes!

  18. Cut off your kibble?!?! {GASP!} That's not even funny to JOKE about! Bite-y cats unite to show TW what's UP! She can [maybe] handle ONE bite-y cat ... but I volunteer my services. Yesterday, when my Momma gave me my insulin shot, I gave her 14 new DEEP fang marks in her arm. FOR ONE SHOT. Sounds about even. There might've been a lot of blood, but it wasn't mine! ~Bear Cat

  19. Try not to worry. Your peeps are doing all they can to stay healthy.

  20. Hope your staff are keeping safe. My old man and old woman have plenty of TP because they bought loads of cheap rolls months ago. I don't need it personally. The old woman says there's plenty of cat food in the house too. Love, Toffee.

    That's Purrfect
