I thought instead of using a ton of words, I'd just show you some of the pics TW took. Actually, this is most of them starting with our view.
We headed down a staircase until we were in a strange suite with a pawsome NYC view. I was with peeps I trusted so I easily relaxed. It wasn't the vet after all. Can you see the Umpire State Building hiding behind the taller skyscrapers? Of course it would have looked nicer had TW 'shopped out all the wires.
This resort had a kitty suite all set up for me. There was my small litter box and a water and food dish. I came right out of the PTU and headed toward the litter box cos it was something familiar.
I broke free from the kitty suite by slithering through TW's legs. I wanted to explore the rest of the resort. My "vacation home" was humongous! The big room was one giant sun puddle. We're too poor to afford sun puddles in the hood so I avoided them at all costs. I didn't want to get a sunburn. The room had a sofa and giant screen tv for TW and a work table for Pop who set up his work computer.
They had a kitty-size tepee that TW kept telling me to check out but I was more innerested in an unfinished corner behind the tepee. Throughout the day, I spent a lot of time investigating the smells in that corner. TW hoped I didn't think it was a litter box. I'm not that stupid. She had to 'shop me in the tepee.
If I was wearing one of those watches to count steps, I must have did a million trillion of them. I walked around the perimeter of that space a hunnert times. Sometimes TW came with me and other times she gave me my freedom. Pop was at the table cos he was working from home or more appropriately from the resort. At home I sit on the chair next to him but there was too much to experience here.
Every time someone walked past the room, I went to the door to check them out. I could actually see through the door. The funniest was when some young female human passed and looked in at me looking at her. She walked a few steps and then she did a double take. The look on her face was precious! Guess she'd never seen a stunning cat such as myself. 'Specially since the penultimate rule of the room was "NO ANIMALS EXCEPT SERVICE ANIMALS." HAH! I service only myself.
This was me after we got home. I was exhausted. It was only an eight-hour vacation at the C100 Resort but I acted like a seasoned traveler. This little ghetto kitteh aced it. I ate, used the litter box and didn't jump on or scratch any of the furniture. This adventure cat can now understand the bond Summer has with her human. I felt safe cos TW was there for me in case I was a little scared in a strange place. She felt better cos we were away from the noise, dust and intruders upstairs and, believe me, the air was thick with construction dust when we got home. Except the part about the PTU, I don't think I'd mind going back.
That was an amazing adventure. But did I read that correctly?! "I felt safe cos TW was there for me..."
