Feral Friday—Fill-in Fever

Hola kitties! This has been a busy week with all the extra posts. TW had a lot of spare time while the hired help was reinstalling—and breaking—the window treatments to take some dictation. Cos she's been a little under the weather, we're gonna make this short and … well I don't do sweet. She says it's CAT allergies and not that new Verona virus cos she only coughs in the condo—never outside. While our old windows were drafty enough to keep her allergies at bay, the new ones are air-tight.

Feral Friday—Fill-in Fever

Now it's time to join the Friendly Fill-Ins, a weekly feature held at this time, which is already in progress. Our hosts—15andmeowing and Four Legged Furballs need no innerductions as they are giants in the cat blogging world. They think up the fill-ins and I fill in the answers which are underlined and in italics. Any further comments on my part are in italics. Each week my image relates to one of the fill-ins. Today it applies to number one.

1. I won't pay more than zero cents for photo apps. We pay enough for Photoshop CC so if I can't do an online art effect for free, I either won't do it or will figure out a way around it. Heh heh. I have my ways.

2. The last food I snubbed was gut rot. Actually it was a very expensive food TW bought for me to try from Chewy—Fussie Cat chicken and beef in pumpkin soup. I really like the brand's kibble but apparently not their stinky goodness. TW is wondering if she should call Chewy and try to get her $34 back. I certainly didn't snub that nommy crab cake!

3. I recently had the opportunity to explore the community room in our complex. All the peeps' worries were unfounded cos I aced it. In fact, I didn't want to get into the PTU to go home.

4. A shelter cat getting a forever home is cause for celebration. Even more so when it was ME. I've said it before—every kitteh who desires a home should have one and that is a cause for celebration. Personally having Chinese food is cause for celebration too.

Puzzle time for all my fans.

I was gonna use the same painting as in the title image but I've been postponing this one for a few weeks already. I painted this with the help of one of the dream apps (free version, of course) and I hope you like it. It will be my Feral Friday entry in the Caturday Art blog hop which is hosted by the lovely Athena Cat Goddess Wise Kitty and her mum to showcase the latest art by anipal artists using digital apps, Photoshop or original art. No talent? No problemo. There are hundreds of one-click apps for desktop or mobile devices that will turn your photos into digital works of art.

  1. I thought Fussie Cat was for, um, fussy cats! I sure liked it when I had to do a photo session for the company!

  2. We've never tried Fussie Cat. But if it's a fancy pants food, you can bet Bear will NOT be interested. He doesn't like pumpkin anyway. And brands that start with "W" (and yes, we realize Fussie doesn't start with "w," that was just a bonus fun fact!)

  6. I love your fill-ins and especially #4. I wish the same thing.

Have a purrfect day and weekend. My best to your peeps. ♥

  7. Your art is fabulous! The first photo is rather scary. Your #4 fill-in is the best we have seen today. We agree 100%. That food sounds yucky. We are quite sure none of us would eat it. And our mom would definitely try to get the money back. Have a super duper good weekend. 9. I agree with Summer, if it's for fussy cats, no wonder you didn't like it - MOL!

  10. We agree with number 4. Us Canuck Cats don't always get the same food as those in the States so we make do with our own stuff. Mom did try a bunch of wet food but we like what we like and not the expensive ind.

  12. Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. You do a wonderful job on photos so no need to spend money on them.Chewy is good about that, I bet they would return your money and tell you to give the rest of the food to a shelter. I love your art. Thank you for the puzzle. XO

  13. Poor TW! Should you start worrying, CK? I didn't renew my PicMonkey subscription this year. Other photo editors do many of the same things for free and I can use the $49/year elsewhere.

  14. Good fill-ins this week especially number 4. I'm eating Chinese food right now, and it is cause for celebration. I hope you don't need to re-home TW. Just kidding. I hope she feels better quickly.

  17. Mom has Photoshop so she won't use the paid versions of others. We think you should contact Chewy about the food.

    Thanks for the puzzle.

  19. I like your Stunning Art, CK and your big mouth too..meaning the picture of course😹😹You're one kitty..MOL...Granny got me some rotten food too, it was of the branch I usually got, but they did something with it that made my stomach feel sick, so no more of that not-goodies. 21. Your number 4 answer is spot on!! I don't think we've tried that brand of gut rot yet. Haha.

  22. We like all your answers and are so glad to see you. Purrs Moms sneezies clear up. Now she can crack a window instead of having her windows crack themselves

  23. I was going to ask if you ever act as TW's nurse when she's under the weather, CK, but I think we know the answer to that. And thank you for joining in on the Friendly Fill-Ins! You and Tonks would probably have a grand time snubbing food together. And your #4 is absolute purrfection. Purrs!

  24. Hi CK!
We sure agree with your #1. Yep, paying for PP was enough for us too. We won't pay for actions either1 we wanted to re-download one we used a year ago and now they want money for that!
We LOVE your art this week too! If we get a chance, we are going to go and so the puzzle.
    Ciao
