And Then This Happened …

Hola kitties! You would not believe what happened over the weekend! Since it's been warmer, I've been able to get whiffies and I've been spending some time on the window sill daydreaming. In the early morning, there are sun puddles to lay in. I might add they're the only sun puddles we get. I also have an update on my injured paw at the close of the post.

And Then This Happened …

If you're from Trout Towne, you might want to stop reading right here.

So I was doing this.

And Then This Happened …

I was minding my own business looking out the window at everybuddy else's business.

And then this happened.

And Then This Happened …

Look what was on the building next door! Dinner! Were they mocking me or inviting me? Get the grill fired up! I'll bring the burd.

What are you having for dinner?

PAW UPDATE: Thanx for all the healing purrz and advice for my hurt paw. I still have a slight hitch in my step but mostly the limp is gone. TW has me dead and buried cos I still haven't started playing yet but it hasn't even been a week. The other night she watched some acclaimed movie on the telly— something she never does—and was blubbering all night over me. Our internet was out which is why she watched the movie.

  10. BFGF your limp will get better soon and you can play again. I still play with Mom L and Dad P, just not up and down my cat trees anymore. But I love to play with wand tows and roll over and back and over again chasing them while lying down.

  11. I agree with Trout Tabbies...what movie were you watching? Da Boyz spend hours each day, watching the birds on our yard, in between rain showers, that is.

  12. Glad your paw is better, keep those birdies under surveillance, you never know!

  13. Sometimes the birdies here come right up on the window ledge too. Mom says they have a death wish.

We're glad your paw is healing.

  16. Glad you're recovering. Don't be hard on TW...us cat moms have a tendency to overreact :) It's just because we love you so much!

  17. We don't have pigeons here in the country, and the songbirds aren't big enough to grill and eat. :)

  18. For several years in a row, we had a pigeon visitor every spring. She'd perch on the storage closet outside and coo for hours at a time. Drove Bear nuts! We actually thought it was a he ... until the he showed up and he was much more vivid. We haven't seen them since ... I can't speak for Bear, but I kind of miss them!

  19. It looks like there's a new take out joint next door, CK! :D

  20. Wait, you're just now getting warm enough to open the windows?! Ugh... it's been over 100 here and I barely get any open window time. It's awful. I agree that the pigeons were mocking you. But we all know that if you were allowed out, you would make dinner of them. I hope your paw is 100% better soon.

  21. Yeah, they're totally mocking you. Don't put up with that!
