We gonna go now to the Friendly Fill-Ins, a feature held weekly at this time. Let's meet our hosts—15andmeowing and Four Legged Furballs. BTW, Foto Frenzy will be back at some point. They think up the fill-ins and I fill in the answers. My answers are underlined and in italics with further comments in italics. Each week my image relates to one of the fill-ins. Today it relates to number two.

1. I hope Fancy Feast never goes out of business. I know they're part of Purina but big brands tend to change recipes and pull products whenever they feel like it. We had a scare when TW ordered some of the Weruva with pumpkin soup only to get an email from Chewy saying it had been discontinued. Luckily it was just that they changed the size of the boxes. Chewy never said that. The peeps have no luck cos every kind of food they buy in the supermarket winds up being discontinued soon after they discover they like it.
2. So far, the highlight of my year has been the days Pop works from home. I love having Pop home during the day. He calls them "take your cat to work days." Otherwise the year has been blah. Let's see: I lost my Chewy gig and haven't found another. TW doesn't have time to let me visit my furrends so I've lost followers. Last week I hurt my paw. No more Chinese food. This year hasn't exactly been going my way.
3. Social media takes up too much time. Creating inneresting images and blog posts takes the the entire day. TW never has time to play with me. She says she has to keep up with the trends so she spends way too much time on FB. I'd rather she'd be visiting and commenting on other cat blogs for me.
4. If I didn't have to sleep, I would spend that extra time biting. I'd bite cos I'd be tired and irritable. TW's favorite part of the day is after she goes to bed although she can think of a million things that need to be done. She sleeps away her troubles; at least she tries to but I'm still there in the morning. HAH!

What cat wouldn't like to paw print paint aka finger paint. Nothing funner than getting the paw all full of paint. I scheamed some paint on this canvas showing my profile back in 2016 but this is the first time I'm premiering it. Can you believe I haven't hung this masterpiece in my gallery yet? I did a great job but what impresses me most is that one white whisker. MOL!
This will be my Feral Friday entry in the Caturday Art blog hop which is hosted by the lovely Athena Cat Goddess Wise Kitty and her mum to showcase the latest art by anipal artists using digital, Photoshop and original art. No talent? No problemo. There are hundreds of one-click apps for desktop or mobile devices that will turn your photos into works of art.
I luv my Fancy Feast.
ReplyDeleteNo Fancy Feast?!? Now THAT'S a bad year. Blogging - and all the stuff one has to do related to that - eats up a lot of time; and it's relatively thankless. Maybe TW is focusing her energies on things that more consistently offer feedback or that she likes more? CK ... you and your biting. I've had two biter cats and they both have special places in my heart.
ReplyDeleteMy cat doesn't bite - but we definitely know when she's cross with us!
ReplyDeleteThat's Purrfect
Not So Sweet Toffee
I don't know what my cat would do without Fancy Feast although he has been enjoying Tiny Tiger food too. I think Tiny Tiger is a Chewy brand so it could be discontinued at anytime. I hate when you don't get advance notice of a brand being discontinued, at least they could give you a chance to stock up. Have a bitey weekend.
ReplyDeleteYep, we are Fancy Feast fans too and your art is stunning CK!
ReplyDeleteFlynn used to love Gourmet Solitaire and then they changed the recipe and he either wouldn't touch it or it made him throw up. It's the same with human food. As soon as we find something new we like, a couple of months later they discontinue it.
ReplyDeleteI love your paw paint art.
I so wish that I convince The Hubby to make all of our cat food; it's doesn't have to be raw, but at least we'd know the ingredients and we'd make the changes, not the cat food maker! We even have a separate kitchen (leftover from when our house was divided into two apartments), so we'd have everything germ-free and not mixed in with any human food. Maybe when I retire, I can make the cat food myself...hmmm...
ReplyDeleteWell, CK, you are as loaded with complaints as my human is this week!
ReplyDeleteLove your fill-ins. I always fed my kitties Fancy Feast. They all loved it.
ReplyDeleteI love your highlight. Having your dad home is a good thing.
Have a fabulous day and weekend. My best to your peeps. ♥
sadly we actually have a new adult foster female, Penelope, who is indeed a biter biter and she draws blood on Mom L and Dad P. She was abandoned when people moved from an apartment bldg near our neighborhood. She was not spayed, pregnant and declawed!! We are hoping for a cat behaviorist to assess her in a week or so.
ReplyDeleteThat's good to know about Chewy! We got an email too, now I'm going to have to see if it was just a package size change.
ReplyDeleteZoey hopes Fancy Feast doesn’t go out of business either. Though lately she’s been on a Sheba kick.
ReplyDeleteTWO of Mudpie's favorite Pro Plan items have been discontinued. I don't know what pet food companies are thinking. How are you supposed to explain to your pet that their favorite food is no longer available? It's just wrong. Stepping off my soap box...
ReplyDeleteThank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. I am sorry you are not having a good year though. Why no more Chinese food? You will never lose me as a follower- I am as devoted to you as I am to Nic Cage :) I love your art! Have a nice weekend! XO
ReplyDeleteI love your art and enjoyed reading your fill-ins.
ReplyDeleteI like to bite too :)
Whoa - biting, food discontinued..you just can't catch a break, can you, CK? We'll have to invent a new law..CK's law when things get a little wonky. - Tom x
ReplyDeleteYou know Noodle is upset when we find Noodle Nuggets in the bath tub!
ReplyDeleteHave a super weekend...
Noodle and crew
We love your artwork, CK!
ReplyDeleteSo, will you be spending some time in the biter's box?
If fancy feast ever went out of business I don't know what I'd do!
ReplyDeleteAngel Rosie always loved Fancy Feast, and Thimble used to love it, but then one day she decided it was no longer worthy. Can you believe that, CK? Oh, and we were thinking you might something like that for #4. It's best not to let those teeth go to waste. Purrs!
