One minute I was relaxing on my pink hand-me-down perch and the next I realized I didn't have a blog post for today. I stopped by #BlogpawsChat and axed if anyone had any questions they wanted to ax me. The lines got busy instantly. Lemme open up the mic for the first caller. Marjorie in New Zealand, are you there?
Thanks for reminding me that I've been remiss in talking about the progress of the albatross next door cos TW hasn't taken pics in a while. They're still working on the building that doesn't block my view. Burd-tv hasn't been cancelled yet. It will soon be a year they've been working on this eye sore. The outside looks almost finished BUT nothing has been done on the inside.
This is the last pic we have of the building taken during our snow storm two weeks ago. It's all wrapped up. The roof is wrapped in white, the windows have yellow tape around them and the sides of the building are tangled up in blue. Now they're covering the blue wrap with some black stuff which may be covered up by siding or brick.
To answer your question, Marjorie, we can wait for this building to self-destruct on it's own. It's the building they haven't started yet that we'll have to demolish.
We have one more question. This one is from Brian.
Brian, being a cat has a lot to do with it. Did you ever see an ugly cat? There are mangy cats but no ugly ones. I do improve upon what nature gave me by constant washing, biting my peeps to keep my teeth pearly white, running crazypants several times a day—usually when TW sits down to eat—and not overeating. Eating healthy makes my furs all silky and shiny. Of course, an occasional FURminating also helps my furs stay stunning.
Constant washing helps keep me stunning. |
I've been driving TW crazy with my dieting. I used to do most of my eating after 4 pm since FF tuna was my fave meal. Now I mostly finish my breakfast so I'm a bit picky about dinner. After 11 years, TW thinks I'm tired of FF tuna. I don't finish it anymore; in fact, I leave quite a bit. I've been loving my Muse salmon so TW decided to start feeding me that for supper. What a disaster! I ate it yesterday but ate about a third of a can today. Then I told her I wanted the FF tuna. When I see that dish with the paw prints, I want FF tuna.
Having wonderful furrends help too. I know my furrends will help boost my ego when I'm down. Wait, where did that come from?? I know I have to look good if I want people to keep reading this blog and looking at my photos on Facebook.
Anyhoo, that's all the questions we have time for today. If you have any further questions, leave them in the comments or send me a tweet.
Don't give away ALL your secrets, CK! You need to keep your fans guessing.

ReplyDeleteI love your intimate sharing CK. I follow a strict regime myself. I too have decided a diet is in order as that roll on my tummy is gross. I'm driving mom crazy as she insists I eat more so gives me some deli roasted chicken all ripped up. Course, Shoko gets this too, can't spoil me and not her.

You're right, no such thing as an ugly cat.
ReplyDeleteWe know how you feel, we've got an eyesore of a plot of land across the street. It's been vacant for over a year and they keep piling up dirt & flattening it down. I guess they're waiting for the best time to create enough heavy equipment noise to wake the dead and ruin our Summer! On another note, you do look stunning as usual!
