Time to get my midweek EZ on but you won’t believe what I’m gonna tell you. TW makes me lay in my own furs! You can see the mess of furs in the photo above. Can you believe that? No, I guess you can’t.
I can remember a time when every morning she used to brush off the spot on the bed where I sleep. She used that little Pledge Fabric Sweeper thing that she likes so much she even figured out how to open it and get the furs out so she could reuse it. She’d dutifully sweep the furs I shed during the night as I expect her to. Last week, she didn’t perform this duty for me. You can gasp with me. GASP!
I had to sleep in my own furs!! I could have swallowed it! I could have breathed it in! A piece could have gotten caught in my nose and caused me to start sneezing uncontrollably! Do you know a cat’s fur could have pollen from outside that the humans bring in on it. That means I could have breathed in all the pollen and, me, with my allergies … GASP!
The good old days when I didn’t have to lay in my furs. |
TW: Don’t be a drama queen, CK. I forgot for a couple of days but you’re not losing much fur anymore. Your winter coat is starting to come in.
CK: That. Is. Not. The. Point. You have one job to do —
TW: One job??? What about your blog? Your litter box? Playing with you?
CK: Don’t cut me off, Woman!
Excuse that little friendly exchange of opinions. TW is out of line and she knows it. I’ve already taken care of it by attacking her viciously with both teeth and claws. Yep, time to get my EZ on. Ahhhh CHOOOO!! Woman, clean this loose fur up. NOW!!
TW had one job...
ReplyDeletewell, maybe more than one.
But your comfort should be first and foremost!
Are you kidding??? Sometimes I have to sleep on a 1/2-in. CARPET of my furs!! But that's okay--it smells like ME. What could be better???
ReplyDeleteI have not forgotten my Mice-Bucket challenge, darling. Once the new machine is up and running....well, it's raining mice, Baby!
Being a cat mom IS pretty hard work, CK ;)
ReplyDeleteGuess you're lucky you didn't get a hairball.
ReplyDeleteYou could have just puked up a hairball on her pillow!

ReplyDeleteAlas CK you just can't get good staff these days. Have a wonderful Wednesday.
ReplyDeleteBest wishes Molly
Sounds like you set her straight, CK. Good help is so hard to find. Sometimes you just have to take things into your paw and make sure humans know they aren't up to your standards.
ReplyDeleteJust when we think we've got our humans trained to do all those things we EXPECT and DESERVE, they pull a fast one and get "dumb" out of nowhere! If you are used to having that fur removed then no wonder you're disappointed in her! Gosh....sounds like you need to give her remedial training CK.
ReplyDeleteHugs, Sammy
Don't worry, my mum does that too.
ReplyDeletePurrs xx
Athena

ReplyDeleteOMC that's awful....oh wait....our Mom makes US sleep in our furs too.............
ReplyDeleteThe Florida Furkids
C.K, you are one demanding kitty. We not only have to sleep in our own furs but also those of all our housemates. Our Mom is the biggest slacker on the planet. Thanks so much for attending Misty May's and Mauricio's Birthday party today. XO, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo

I understand your distress at TW's shockingly poor housekeeping CK, but console yourself with the fact that you have to lie on the most beautiful furs. If I could I would come and brush them up myself and take them home with me to add to my box of treasures.
ReplyDeleteMeyarrrr! By the bye, we be right glad t'see ye be inna spirit o' MLaP day--it be comin' apace!
ReplyDeleteAhh...the fur...hairballs will be next.
ReplyDeleteAllie: Seriously, CK< what's a sistah from the hood gonna do anyway???
ReplyDeleteSassy feels your pain, CK - the Mom doesn't clean off her spot on the bed either. It is COVERED in fur. Humans…. they can be such slackers!
ReplyDeleteRound 999,999 - CK is the winner! Guess you showed TW CK. That is a pawsome picture of you CK - even if your furs are all over the place (M said she couldn't see any). Oh, please stop by my bloggy, we have a little something for you today.
ReplyDeleteThe mom stopped cleaning our furs up on certain places like our bed and hammick a long time ago. She said it was just too hard to keep them clean. We think she's just lazy.
ReplyDeleteMOL i love this " Don’t cut me off, Woman! " I keep this to use with my mom :)
ReplyDelete=^-^=
We don't know, CK ... TW sounds more on the ball about those things than the humans here. MOL!
ReplyDeleteUGH! Sometimes us humans just drop the ball don't we?
ReplyDeleteღ husky hugz ღ frum our pack at Love is being owned by a husky!
Write it down, CK : every TW's task. It's so hard to have a well-trained human ! Purrs
ReplyDeleteMOL... at least you have evidence in the photos CK!
ReplyDeleteThe nerve! Making you sleep on your own furs.
ReplyDeleteThough we must admit in our house, all the dogs and cats sleep on everyone's furs.
--Purrs (and wags) from Life with Dogs and Cats.
You just have to keep training those humans you have around. Maybe the furs makes things a little more comfy though?
ReplyDeleteTeeths and Claws! That's what trains our humans! Momm says she responds better to purrs, but me begs to differ. Keep upthe good work CK!
ReplyDeleteKsses

You poor, poor, kitteh. Forced to lay on your own furs. You must plot your revenge. Ideally cold and wet.
ReplyDelete; )
My goodness, such a ruckus over a little fur.
ReplyDeleteKeeping TW in line must be a 32/8 job...just sayin
