  1. This is so very sad and difficult to watch, but it is also important that we never forget. Peace.

  2. I wasn't around when that happened, but we cannot forget it either.

  4. Brian and Marg: I feel deeply about 9/11 because I almost lost my Pop before I even knew him. Living near NYC, we lost friends.

  5. That is an awesome video CK. So many lives lost so needlessly. We can never never forget. I'll never forget the day either as I was at work and the boss called people into the conference room where he had the TV turned on. We were almost in disbelief, then shocked that this could happen right here in the US.

  11. this was super important but so painful to watch. I remember watching it as it happened, at work...we were all huddled around the TV. What an awful day, there is no word that can describe it. Thank you for sharing

  12. Cloon's Human: I can only imagine what it was like for your Dad and TW. I will never forget 9/11 either as I spent the day in Canada in a totally dark apartment because the night before my cat Inka had accidentally stuck her paw in my eye with her nails extended and it scratched 2 layers of my cornea, and I wasn't able to see. So I had gone to emergency and had to wear an eye patch that day. I couldn't go out or watch TV. People were calling me to tell me what had happened. When I went to NYC in 2005, I went to Ground Zero, I found it very impactful. I'm with Oskar, may everyone be protected from that ever happening again.

  13. The Human will never forget that day. She's finding an odd thing, though. She teaches high school and it's quite startling to her to realize that some of her students were only 4 or 5 years old and have virtually no memory of it, just what their parents and others have passed on to them. It's a lesson in how quickly things that seem so fresh to adults pass quickly into history.

  14. Never ever ever forget... The families, the victims, the extraordinary heroes... Thank you for honoring the memories we must never forget.
