Feral Friday: Hoppy Easter

Hola kitties! Happy Easter or Hoppy Easter as I prefer to say. Happy Passover and Ramadan too. This will be a short, sweet post. Well, as sweet as I get. Rawr!

Feral Friday: Hoppy Easter

Here's a Friday flashback Easter pic from 2019.

Feral Friday: Hoppy Easter

This is file footage since we don't have a large choco bunny this year. The peeps decided on cream eggs and choco Peeps instead.

Friendly fill-ins

Let's answer some of these Friendly Fill-Ins, a weekly feature held at this time, which is already in progress. Our hosts—15andmeowing and Four Legged Furballs—need no innerductions as they are giants in the cat blogging world. They think up the fill-ins and I fill in the answers. My answers are boldface. This week my image relates to numbers one and two.

Feral Friday: Hoppy Easter

1. I hope the Easter bunny brings me better health. I'm limping; my asthma has been flaring with the damp weather; I need meds to eat; it seems like everything is breaking down at once. I'm not that old. I'm only 17. Of course, I'd appreciate treats also. Some of those Churus would be nice.

2. I don't want the Easter bunny to bring me any more meds. Seems I'm always getting dosed with something. We're running out of pred and apparently you can only use a tube of the ear stuff for a month. I also don't want chocolate or flowers, especially lilies cos they're both toxic to cats.

3. I can't believe I didn't think to enjoy my ruff being petted until recently. Is that what we call the area on the side of our neck? My fur is so soft and plush there too. I never knew it was so enjoyable until recently. Of course, TW didn't dare try to pet me there neither until recently.

4. Mother Nature really needs to shape up. The weather is all over the place. There's been tornadoes in NJ and one afternoon it's 70 and by nightfall it's 30. It's April; it's not supposed to be 30! Did I mention we have rain every single day? I'm not talking about April showers either. This daily rain has been going on since January. The Cat's arthur-itis doesn't like it.

Caturday art

Caturday Art is hosted by the lovely Athena Cat Goddess Wise Kitty and her mum to showcase how talented us anipal artists are. We can use the many different digital apps, Photoshop, AI art or share original art. Actually all the art programs/apps use AI but they employ picture to picture, rather than text to pictures.

Feral Friday: Hoppy Easter

For Easter, I painted you a stunning closeup of ME. I actually call it Stunning Closeup! HAH!

Feral Friday: Hoppy Easter

I axed Mr. AI to interpret my Easter pic as maybe a Dali or some other abstract artist would. I also told him tomorrow is Draw a Pic of a Bird Day and to try to include a bird or two in it and he did. Can you find the three birds? The Peep is sorta grotesque though. The sky in the ears reminds me of Magritte. I won't complain cos I look stunning.

Hoppy Easter to those who celebrate. Even of you don't, eat chocolate if you're a human. Hope you get lots of treats in your baskets.

  1. OMG, yes shape up and do right, Mother Nature. We must live next door to you, well, not really. 82 degrees yesterday (86 in our apt, cause no air conditioning until May 15), mine Mommy sweated all night and kicked me outta bed, no sleepin' on her feets, too hot she said. Hey, why aren't you biting those bunny ears, proximity, if'n it was me I'd be munching away, unless some PEEPS were nearby, yellow ones please, preferably stale or frozen. No other easter candy desired. And why no polka dot eggs? Bad bunny. I like your art, well, I always like your art, nothing new there. That's it, my secretary is tired due to lack of sleep last night, hot flashes, ha-ha, not really, too old for those anymore, thank you very much. Happy Egg Hunting or whatever. Me, if there's a basket, I'll just shred the shredding that's in it.

  2. Our Sweetie enjoys having her ruff scritched, CK...and that's about all!
She has a lot of feral in her still, like you.
Lovely art today, and I'll puzzle soon...thanks.

  3. Stunning Closeup is fabulous! Putting bright colors together and making them work well takes great skill. Did I say that before? Wouldn't surprise me lol. The second picture is intriguing too ... I think I found the 3 birds but am only sure of one ... Glad you are enjoying the scritches, CK!

  5. Happy Easter! I don't like chocolate, but I do enjoy a little plastic to chew on. This is Jake Housepanther, my Can Opener doesn't enjoy plastic. Sending healing thoughts for everyone in the townhouse. Hoping that Spring will be here soon. Have a good weekend!

  8. Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers except I am sorry you are not feeling well. I sure hope you get some Churros. I like the picture of you with the Easter Bunny and I love both of your masterpieces. I did not see the birds until I went back and looked for them. Thank you for the puzzles. I hope you, TW and Pops have a wonderful Easter. XO

  11. Hi CK have you tried the Flexadin Advanced for Arthritis it's for cats and dogs so Scylla and Fenris both take it. It's a TREAT and we both just love it. Scylla and Mom both like lying on heating pads Mom usually leaves one on low for Scylla to lay on. Hope you get to feeling better. Mom got a rabbit one year for Easter she named him Happy Hoppy (well she was 4 so I guess he didn't mind). Hoppy Easter to you and your family from all of us here at ATCAD

  17. Seems like the weather is the same in the whole world, CK. We were lucky to have a lot of Sun the first Easter Day and it was pleasantly warm, but before and after that we still have rain rain rain...🙈 Stippie likes the plastic more too than anything what's under it...MOL...Your art looks fantastic again, you are so talented🎨 We believe that the Bunny hears all about your wishes and sends you a lot of Healing to get you more quality in the purrocess you're in and we'll too🙏🙏🙏Double belated Easter Pawkisses for all of you🐾😽💞
