Feral Friday Flashbacks: The Cat in the Tunnel & Other Tails

Hola kitties! It's that time of the week again. It's all about Keisha and nothing but Keisha. You down with that? Glad I could make some of you laugh last week at my post about the lottery and TW said reading the comments made her smile. I, however, found nothing funny. This week I have a flashback for you. These are from March 2015. Whoa, that was about 50 years ago! I'll try to remember why we took them.

Feral Friday Flashbacks: The Cat in the Tunnel & Other Tails

My original Tunnel of Pain and Suffering is starring with me in this flashback.

Friendly Fill-ins

Let's answer some Friendly Fill-Ins, a weekly feature held at this time, which is already in progress. Our hosts—15andmeowing and Four Legged Furballs—need no innerductions as they are giants in the cat blogging world. They think up the fill-ins and I fill in the answers. My answers are boldface. This week my image relates to number one.

Feral Friday Flashbacks: The Cat in the Tunnel & Other Tails

1. On holidays, I usually have a second serving of whatever meat they have. I understand this year they'll be no turkey and no ham. The peeps usually qualify for a free turkey but didn't even try this year. There'll be no New Year's ham cos TW got bad food poisoning from the Easter ham which sent her to hospital for a week.

2. I am thankful for a home, enough food and lots of Pop kissies. For a feral, I sure get lots of lovin'.

3. I would like to invite Brian over for a feast. I think he's so handsome and he and his family are so kind to all the ferals in their hood.

4. Dr. H. leaving Meadowlands Veterinary Hospital was is a blessing in disguise. Yeah, she was my new vet who we found after a year's search. Yeah, she's trying to get away from me just like Dr. D. Dunno how Pop felt about her—TW loved her—but that's the place where Pop passed out and fractured his back. Now we can either visit her closer to home where she'll be working starting next month or find someone else. The other place was quite a hike from our condo.

Caturday art

I've been working with AI quite extensively to up my art game. Here we remade my stunning self into a stunning tabby kitten using one of the pics from the 2015 foto shoot. I did it in an impressionistic painting style.

Caturday Art is hosted by the lovely Athena Cat Goddess Wise Kitty and her mum to showcase how talented us anipal artists are. We can use the many different digital apps, Photoshop or share original art.

  1. You've always been stunning! It sounds like it's a good thing your vet moved. Always nice to have them closer to home. Ours is 3 blocks away from our house which is good since Raz is a PTU pooper.

  2. We humans are very involved with our chose veterinarians, aren't we, CK?
Lovely artwork, and I'm off to puzzle...thanks.

  3. It's always good to have the vet closer, CK, though our cats may not agree ...Our girl kitties and I do agree with you about Brian, he is one handsome cat dude! Whoa, that is some strikingly beautiful art! It takes a lot of skill to use AI to make a picture look so much like a painting!

  4. I hope you get some kind of meat (and seconds too) on Thanksgiving, even if it's not turkey.

  5. We don't celebrate Thanksgiving so no turkey here. We don't have it at Christmas either as I don't like it. We have beef instead. The art is lovely.

  6. That looks like a pretty fancy tunnel CK and too bad about no turkey or ham, we're having turkey. Brian said thanks for the invite but if you'd like some turkey he said he'd love to have you visit! Cool kitten art too! Hey, be sure you stop by Monday to see the latest from the feral front.

  8. Very cute flashback photos of you. Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers except I am sorry you won't have a turkey or ham. I hope you have something good to eat. Bria is a handsome boy. I love your art. Thank you for the puzzle. XO

  9. Guess what CK? I got my very first taste of real human food yesterday! It wasn't meat, but salmon. Mine Mommy didn't finish (it went into the ice box for later), but OMC was it ever good, she said "that's cause it is bourbon-soaked salmon, June." So I don't know now if I most like the salmon or the bourbon. I do know I slept very well last night. Apparently a touch of the drinkie does one good before bedtime. However, I'll not likely imbibe again as you-know-who doesn't much like the stuff, oh, she used to like wine, but now it gives her headaches, so, that's that. Poor me. She is a party pooper. Anywayz, I don't really understand what is artificial about your intelligence (or are you talking about TW?). I sometimes think mine Mommy is artificial, she can be odd, strange, like a robot, you know and do weird things, the other day, she put a bottle of catsup in the bathroom closet. ??? Intelligent? Not! Her brain particles are diminishing by the hour. But as long as she remembers to fill my food bowl, matters not much I s'pose. Oh, back to that A.I. thing: the artwork: it is really spectacular, I even put on my spectacles to look closer at it! (that's a joke you know) ... spectacles: spectacular ... and on that note, I'd best say bye for now, and have a happy weekend, just me, JUNE

  10. CK, that artwork is wild! You really do look like a tabby kitten there.

We hope you get something extra good to eat for T-Day. No turkey or ham? Maybe some of your favorite Chinese food? :)

  11. How interesting that you incorporated flashback art into today's Caturday Art. Keisha was such a sweet little kitten who grew into her stunning self of today. The impressionist style along with the use of bright colour have certainly impressed me. Keisha is the focus as it should be.

  16. You have to be very patient for that dot, CK, we searched for hours after the red dot play, so now we have to wait until we're bigger as we were devastated and stressed out that it was gone🙈 Your artwork is always so beautiful. We don't celebrate Thanksgiving in our Country, but we sure Hope you have a wonderful day, with a Happy Meal💗Double Pawkisses from us to all of you🐾😽💞
