Hola kitties! I've been telling you about some of the games I like to play.
Last week I played hide and seek and in the past I've told you all the games I
play in the tunnel. I've been playing this game ever since Pop retired.
Musical chairs. It's a game we play multiple times every day, not just feral
Friday.
Pop spends a lot of time at the table. He eats
there and he uses his laptop at the table. This is how we play. Images are
from earlier this week. Disregard the Christmas tablecloth in February. Pop says it's red so it's appropriate for Valentine's Day too. Plus some of the snowflakes resemble covid atoms.
I jump on the chair next to where Pop is sitting but nudge him cos I want the chair he's already warmed up. This time I jumped on the "Ernie mat" named cos
it came in the Secret Paws' package from Ernie Island Cat. First I washed.
Then I settled down for awhile. Sometimes I don't settle down. I
immediately nudge or bite Pop to get his attention and his hiney off the warm
chair.
We change seats but after he warms up the other chair, I want that one.
HAH! Now I'm on the "Spitty mat" which I got from the late, great King Spitty. Gotta get
cleaned up again for King Spitty.
Friendly Fill-ins
Now it's time for Friendly Fill-Ins, a weekly feature held at this time, which
is already in progress. Our hosts—15andmeowing
and
Four Legged Furballs—need no innerductions as they are giants in the cat blogging world. They
think up the fill-ins and I fill in the answers. My answers are boldface. This
week my image relates to number two.
1. A week without finger lickin' chickin' would be nice. That's what Pop calls the chicken Soulistic gut rot. I think it's my least favorite but TW doesn't want me to only eat fish for some reason. Sometimes I'll eat/lick a few bites of it and sometimes I snub it.
2. A week without Chinese food would be impossible. I might sleep through some meals with Chinese food but I do still eat it sometimes. Plus I have a reputation to uphold.
3. I didn't plan to barf up my kibble, but I'm glad I did. I felt much better afterwards and chased the shmousy laser through the tunnel less than an hour later.
4. I once got my claw caught in the curtain and lived to regret it. Not a window curtain but one acting as a door to the shelves hiding my cat food. Pop was in a zoom meeting and TW was helpless as usual. I screamed and screamed until Pop came to my rescue.

Caturday Art
I was going to pull something out of the archives but decided to try one more
time. It's not a personal best like our Wordle we did in two tries. It was the fifth time we played too. I added
a mild oil painting filter so it looked more like art.
I made a puzzle from the original. Click the art to play.
Caturday Art is hosted by the lovely
Athena Cat Goddess Wise Kitty
and her mum to showcase the latest art by anipal artists using the many
different digital apps, Photoshop or original art.
It sounds like you have a good routine with the male human!
ReplyDeleteCK, Sweetie likes to join me when I have a Zoom meeting; she sings the song of her people so everyone can hear her!
ReplyDeleteI once picked her up to show her to the folks online, but her murder mitts were working hard and I barely escaped with my life.
Terrific art; I'll puzzle soon!
I am glad you got the chair you wanted next to Pop. As always the art is lovely.
ReplyDeleteIt's great that you can enjoy any chair you want AND that your Pop warms them up for you.
ReplyDeleteNice art and thanks for the puzzle.
You, like others, can be so demanding. Mine Mommy doesn't have zoom meetings but she had a video with her doctor and started with sneezies, lots of them, he asked if she was OK and so I walked across her keyboard and he said, OH A CAT ... she sneezed again and said YEAH. That was that, no more, no less. It splained it all. I like being instrusive, don't you. I'm going to try your chair thing. Cause hers sit on the sunny side of the table, mine does not. You're a cool cat, I can learn much from you. Bye now.

Those were really good answers and such cool art CK. The Ernie mat looks darn cool. Love and hugs to TW from all of us.
ReplyDeleteSmart cat to want the warmed up chair! Looks like you have lots of mats to choose from too!
ReplyDeleteThe best seat in the house is always the one that's warmed up for you! Those mats are so warm and cozy. Mudpie has one on the bed, one in her KatKabin, and one on the couch.
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like a fun game. Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers except I am sorry your claw got stuck. All the prices here have gone up too. Sorry you can't have fish flavors- maybe TW could put a little something on top of your food to entice you like real chicken. I love yoru art, so pretty. And thank you for the puzzle. XO
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun game of musical chairs, CK! And I’m glad you’re still using the blankie I sent you. ~Ernie
ReplyDeleteParker likes to sit in Dad's chair. When dad picks him up, he becomes totally boneless. No one can pick up a 17 pound boneless cat. Lately he has been snuggling on a multi species bed. The dog was not pleased and started barking at him. Like that would make Parker move.
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like a fun game you play with Pop, CK! We bet he is enjoying his retirement there with you. :)
ReplyDeleteYour answer to #4 sounded scary!
Always love your answers and art!
ReplyDeleteInstead of, "move your feet, lose your seat". You play, "move your feet, so i can steal your seat". I hope you are having a good weekend. Sending good thoughts to T.W. Cool artwork too.
ReplyDeleteCK, it sounds as if you really know how to play and clearly, you have got Pop well-trained too (mol).
ReplyDeleteCK! Darling! You are too funny! Happpy Valentine’s Day! We have not been posting the last couple of weeks, Mom has been super busy working on the committee trying to keep the Elementary School in our community. We are hoping that we get back to regular posting and commenting soon. CK, Happy Valentine’s Day to you and your Peeps
