TW wanted some closeups and I mean closeup closeups. I was "turkeyed" near the Dana Pixie blankie on Pop's bed. After TW took one pic, she switched to the mackerel lens and shot about 20 extreme closeups.
The session ended when I finally turned my head. I'll bet I didn't get no treats for sitting for her either.
Friendly Fill-ins
It's time to join the Friendly Fill-Ins, a weekly feature held at this time,
which is already in progress. Our hosts—15andmeowing
and
Four Legged Furballs—need
no innerductions as they are giants in the cat blogging world. They think up the
fill-ins and I fill in the answers. My answers are boldface. This week my image
relates to fill-in number four.
1. I will never stop biting.
2. It was a relief to find out Sawyer of Kitties Blue was found save and sound. Mom Ellen also recaptured runaway Bridget who's now safe and sound in their house. It's also a relief to see how many kitties are finding their forever homes. UCFCC is on pace to adopt out 140 kitties this year. Last year they reached 100 for the first time.
3. My art piece (below) made me feel proud of myself.
4. Bananas gross me out. I can't believe they flavor some cat meds with banana. Yuck. All human fruits and veggies gross me out.
Caturday Art
My watercolor is of one of the pics
from the same closeup session. This is for sure one of my best. If you liked
last week's art—which most did—you'll love this one.

Nice art, CK! Tell TW that I am sending her healing purrs for the upcoming week. One of the stops at my regular hospital before covid was for patients like her, and I'm hoping that next time I go there, I can return to visiting that section.

ReplyDeleteThank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. If you ever stop biting, it will mean you are sick and I hope that never happens. I pray TW's treatment goes well. My KaChoo used to love bananas, she was the only one ever interested in them. I love your art. Thank you for the puzzle. XO
ReplyDeleteOops, that was me, sorry. I forgot to put deodorant on this morning and my co-workers were NOT happy. Hahaha! Just kidding.Sending TW comforting thoughts. CK, nice close ups and artwork this week. I also don't understand the love of bananas, I would not be happy having to take banana flavored medicine. Have a good weekend.
ReplyDeleteLove those close ups, CK!
ReplyDeleteAmazing close-ups and art!
ReplyDeleteMum and I think bananas are too stinky :)
I am sorry you don't have any good news about TW. Tell her hard as it is to try to keep thinking positive thoughts and never give up. I am keeping her in my thoughts.
ReplyDeleteYour close ups are lovely. Your cute nose is my favourite. The art is lovely too.
Do you remember Daisy the Curly Cat's sister Pixie? She loved bananas!
Stunning close-ups and art! Sawyer coming home is truly a miracle. Sending love to TW...
ReplyDeleteYou have a lovely nose pad! And your art - wow, that really is a creation to be proud of.
ReplyDeleteThose closeups and your art are awesome, CK. Yeah, what the cat are they thinking with cat meds that taste like bananas? Weird.
ReplyDeleteThose close-ups are so sweet! And your art, as always, is fantabulous!
ReplyDeleteWe send purrs and POTP to TW.
We are sending TW lots of healing purrs. We like some human foods and flavors but banana certainly isn't one of them. Now fish flavored meds would be a different story we might gobble them up without any trouble.
