Hola kitties! Would you care for a spot of catnip tea? How about valerian tea?
Today is International Tea Day which gives me a flashback of the night TW
made herself a cup of valerian tea and brought it into the bedroom. She really
thought she was going to get to drink it. I was all over it. She took the tea
into the other room quickly although I dunno if she drank it. Speaking of flashbacks, hope you don't mind that
this is a Flashback Friday post.
These flashbacks are from November 2015. I don't believe I've ever published a pic where I'm on the counter or in the sink. The reason for that is we don't have really good images cos those are places I choose not to go. At night I get some kibble in case I get hungry. If I start eating that kibble during the day rather than my stinky gut rot, the peeps will put the kibble on the counterto spite me.

Dunno what I was doing here. I think I was taking a waterless bath in the sink.
FRIENDLY FILL-INS
Now it's time to join the Friendly Fill-Ins, a weekly feature held at this time, which is already in progress. Our hosts—15andmeowing and Four Legged Furballs—need no innerductions as they are giants in the cat blogging world. They think up the fill-ins and I fill in the answers. My answers are underlined and in italics. This week my image relates to fill-in number four.
1. Lately, I've been
sleeping a whole lot which is why TW wanted to get my bloodwork done. See, Woman, I'm fine. I'm just acting my age. Seriously, they
panic so easily.
2. I find human inhumanity/stupidity fascinating. If you don't, you haven't been following the news. Being a cat who follows the Ernesto's cats in Syria, all I can think about when I hear reports of the Israeli-Palestinian "conflict" is how many cats are being killed, maimed or orphaned by those rockets coming from all sides. I know you don't want to read which side a little ghetto kitty thinks is more right—and I definitely have an opinion—but in war both sides are wrong and stand to lose more than feline or human lives. How utterly stupid. How utterly inhumane.
3. If I had known I was going to the vet last week, I would have baked Dr. D. a cake. Seriously, I would have made myself scarce that morning instead of easy to find.
4. I can't help but bite and hiss when I'm nervous. I get nervous at the stabby place. I bite, hiss and growl instead of getting an asthma attack like I used to.
Caturday Art
Today I let Pop pick his favorite from all the art I made this week. This is
the one he picked. Srsly, I don't think he liked any of them. Sigh. This is
more of my blue period. I was gonna show a painting from last week's drawing
but you guys voted it down. I'm getting a complex. You're getting a puzzle.
The real art in this piece is the painting of the red flower in the background that was painted by Mario da Cat's dad. I won it at a PawPawty and we bought another piece at the same time. They're priceless. It was wonderful to see a photo of Mario visiting his human mom for Mother's Day.
Caturday Art is hosted by the lovely
Athena Cat Goddess Wise Kitty
and her mum to showcase the latest art by anipal artists using the many
different digital apps, Photoshop or original art.
Cool art, CK. I'm glad your tests were okay. Kitties do slow down a bit as they get older. Okay, I don't remember Binga slowing down much, but that was her!
ReplyDeletePlaces where you shouldn't be are always so much better! Your art as always is lovely.
ReplyDeleteHi, waving paw. I don't know much about the old-stuff, but my hu-mom sure does cause she is like really verysupermanyyears old (but I'm not s-posed to tell that). I like your painting cause the bright colors are happy colors, like my spring toys are happy bright colors. BTW: my old mommy wants to know, please tell her: is there a post, a new one somewhere from Mario? Like she's been looking for him (and Mary) for a long, long time now to know how they are ...
ReplyDeleteOne more thing, like you I luvs to put the bitey on when I am stressed, along with lots of claws too, it works for me. Bye now, happy Saturday, happy Sunday to you and your beings.
That was a real adventure you had on the counter and in the sink, CK! I really like your artwork, it's interesting and colorful!
ReplyDeleteWoodrow and Sophie get on the counter, but I have yet to see any cat in the sink!
ReplyDeleteNice artwork. Have a good weekend!
ReplyDeleteThat was some mighty fine counter surfing CK and darn good answers too, Love your artwork!!!
ReplyDeleteWow that's a not only flashback but it was like a mirror image of looking at my Daisy Mae when she was young.
ReplyDeleteNice flashback photos, CK. I like to get on the counters and search for food. ~Ernie
ReplyDeleteYour art is beautiful! Mudpie used to jump on the kitchen counter (and table) all the time, but suddenly stopped. I wonder sometimes if she fell at some point when I wasn't around and it scared her. She's celebrating National Pizza Party Day today so come on over!
ReplyDeleteGreat flashback photos of you on the counter and in the sink. Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. I am glad you bite and hiss instead of having an asthma attack. :) I hadn't thought of kitties in the crossfire in Israel-now I am going to be worrying for them. It is sad that the most religious place on Earth is always in turmoil. XO
ReplyDeletePS_ thank you for the beautiful puzzle. XO
DeleteWe liked your flashbacks, CK. You always look so cool....I just don't have the right air yet. Well, I am 3 but I like to think an "outgoing but not too friendly 3."
ReplyDeleteYour blue period was good...but I would like to see a red period. The energy would be fascinating.
Tyebe
Great artwork and flashbacks, CK. Ava could definitely get on the counter if she chose to, but she does not choose to do so. :)
ReplyDeleteAgree with you about the human stupidity thing. And we worry so much about all the cats and animals caught up in it all.
ReplyDeleteGreat art!
You cannot get a whiff of a vet visit in advance, CK...that isn't how it's done!
ReplyDeleteOff to puzzle..thanks!
We know that trick of picking up the kibble, especially when some kitty (Sawyer) won't eat his food with his meds in it. Some of us actually eat on the counter. (Lily Olivia always did). We really like your art today. Very colorful. War is stupid! XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, angel Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy, Sawyer & Kizmet
ReplyDeleteWe also love the sink, CK - especially when Mummy turns the tap on and We can try to drink the running water.
ReplyDeleteAbout the Israel-Palestinian conflict - well, naturally We. too, have an opinion, being right in the thick of it and Our Opinion is this: if We kitties were in charge (on both sides) as We rightfully should be, then things would be a Whole Lot Different! Yes, Sirree.
ck....??? we gotta go see what we vee toed...bee rite bak ....
