Now it's time to join the Friendly Fill-Ins, a weekly feature held at this time, which is already in progress. Our hosts—15andmeowing and Four Legged Furballs need no innerductions as they are giants in the cat blogging world. They think up the fill-ins and I fill in the answers which are underlined and in italics. Any further comments on my part are in italics. Each week my image relates to one of the fill-ins. Today it applies to number three. HAH! The prices have gone up about $3 since this pic was taken.
1. I wish I could tell my teenage self not to go to that butcher vet. You know, the one who sent me into respiratory distress and gave me the asthma. I hope that [censored] lost her finger that I bit. To this day I'm sure they misdiagnosed me all my life. One year they said I had Bartonella which was why they wanted to steal my blood after I finished the horrid antibiotics I had forced on me. Thank Ceiling Cat we found Dr. D.
2. I think the most romantic movie is Purple Rain. At least that's what TW says but she's only seen about 25 movies in her entire life and most were either cartoons, concert movies or movies that were not romantic. Think "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" or "A Woman Under the Influence." You get the idea. Movies about crazy people. I regret to say, I've never seen a movie with cats.
3. Last week was the last time I had Chinese food. Yes, the peeps have had it but I didn't get any. I don't know what's worse: them not calling out for it or getting something I can't eat. The latter is prolly worse cos I have to smell it on the peeps' breath. I hope you can't catch that CoronaVirus from Chinese food or the peeps won't eat it anymore.
4. The peeps having meatless meals happens too often. I feel sorry for my furrends' whose humans are vegans or vegetarians. If your humans really loved you, they'd buy rotisserie chick-hen or something just for you. Last year my peeps bought one slice of roast of beef just for me for my Gotcha Day. This year I got nothing. They owe me.
This week I was working on four art pieces simultaneously. I usually try to finish one before I start another so I don't lose my inspiration. It was taking so long for the paint to dry on one so I started another and another and another. Alas and alack! None of them are finished on time. Gasp! I blame The Woman, of course for not starting the blog till the last moment providing me with quick-drying paints.
A puzzle for my fans. |
I settled on this older piece for my Feral Friday entry in the Caturday Art blog hop which is hosted by the lovely Athena Cat Goddess Wise Kitty and her mum to showcase the latest art by anipal artists using digital apps, Photoshop or original art. No talent? No problemo. There are hundreds of one-click apps for desktop or mobile devices that will turn your photos into digital works of art.
The winners: Summer Samba, Mudpie and The Florida Furkids Allie, Raz and Noelle. Let's give them a round of appaws and hope TW mails out their prizes before Thanksgiving. I hope you guys enjoy your's as much as I enjoy my Furbie.
I love your fill-ins and especially #4. I laughed out loud.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to the winners. Way to go.
Have a purrfect day and weekend. ♥
CK, I fall under the 'no talent' heading, for sure...but this is a gorgously colorful image of you! Concats to the winners!
ReplyDeleteWe're so excited to be winners!!
ReplyDeleteMom had Chinese food this week....we didn't get any. SOOOO unfair.

ReplyDeleteCongratulations to the winners! The peeps owe you for your gotcha day.
ReplyDeleteHaha, I feel sorry for my cats too that we're vegetarians! Love the art, even if it's an older work.
ReplyDeleteCongrats to all the winners! It was nice that you got a slice of beef for your Gotcha Day last year, but it should be a tradition that you get it every year.
ReplyDeleteLovely art, and thanks for the puzzle.
Mudpie wouldn't mind meatless meals as long as her squeezies aren't affected! She's still so excited about her win :)
ReplyDeleteThank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. I am sorry you didn't get any Chinese food though-that is so wrong. Purple Rain is a good choice. Beautiful art- thank you for the puzzle. Congrats to the very lucky winners! XO
ReplyDeleteThose really were terrific answers CK and we totally love your stunning art! Congrats to all the wonderful winners!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm so excited that I'm one of the winners! My human has seen hundreds and hundreds of films (she used to work in the film industry and has seriously dated nearly as many filmmakers as she has musicians). Some she has seen multiple times, and Purple Rain was probably the one she has seen the most (other than those she actually worked on). The summer it came out, she went to the bargain matinee probably a couple dozen times!
ReplyDeleteI love your art today CK and your fill-ins are always fun, except that one about the bad vet, nothing worse than a bad vet! One told us our Kai was pregnant and we took her to another vet because SHE WAS SPAYED - the idiot!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to the winners!
Congrats to the winners!
ReplyDeleteLove the art!
We hope you get some Chinese food soon, CK.
ReplyDeleteYour art this week is AMAZING, CK.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with getting some Chinese food - We don't THINK it will give you Corona Virus. Naaah. As long as TW doesn't actually send away to China for it (mol).
Congratulations to the winners! CK, we hope you get some meat (and/or some Chinese food) real soon. :)
ReplyDeleteConcats to the winners and I hope you get some beefie for your starving tummy, CK :D Your artwork is Stunning again, and the puzzle was too😸Pawkisses for a Happy Sunday and good luck with TW's blog project..*mumbles* and hope we hear soon all about it as my curiosity...well...you know ;) 🐾😽💞
ReplyDeleteCongrats to the winners of your favorite Furbie toy.
ReplyDeleteYou are definitely owed a slice of roast beef for your gotcha day!
CK, can you believe that none of the kitties here like any meats the humans eat except for tuna? Toby will eat lettuce, and Evan loves butter, but they ignore chicken, turkey, and all the meaty deliciousness. Toby will roll in ham, but he won't eat it. Isn't that unbelievable? Oh, and a huge concatulations to the lucky winners!
