Failing on Feral Friday

Hola kitties! Of course I'm not the one failing in this post but there are a bunch of fails. There are photo fails aka bloopers among others. Then there's the fact that February failed to end on the 28th. What a couple of weeks we've had in the condo. Thanks for all the advice you guys provided to help me cope with the big window replacement. The biggest fail would be the staff's failure to replace our window treatments. The peeps' bedrooms are lit up like a Christmas tree.

Oh, and I have bloopers for you. The Pet Photo Fails blog hop was created by Roby Sweet and is now graciously hosted by Mudpie and Melissa over at Melissa's Mochas, Mysteries and Meows. Please link up your photo fails on her page so we can all get a laugh out of them.

This month's fails come from my Valentine's shoot. TW wanted me to show you the pretty card Parker sent but instead I climbed out of the igloo and stepped all over it. That's not a reflection of my feelings toward Parker, but more of my scorn of TW and the flashy box.

Failing on Feral Friday

Instead of posing with the card, I knocked it over and then …

… I sat on it while I turned and contemplated going back into the igloo.

Things didn't go much better with the candle.

Now it's time to join the Friendly Fill-Ins, a weekly feature held at this time, which is already in progress. Our hosts—15andmeowing and Four Legged Furballs need no innerductions as they are giants in the cat blogging world. They think up the fill-ins and I fill in the answers which are underlined and in italics. Any further comments on my part are in italics. Each week my image relates to one of the fill-ins. Today it applies to number one.

1. I know spring is almost here when TW starts watching NY Yankee baseball. I hope their season isn't a fail. I know they won't be cheating like some team from Houston. TW coulda outed them cos she kept saying they have to be stealing signs to lay off some of those breaking balls.

2. I find social media confusing. TW finds technology in general confusing. The other day she was trying to upload some pics from the iPawd onto the iMac. First the iPawd wanted the passcode for the iMac. Our desktop is so old, it was born before passcodes were invented. MOL! Then she went into iPhoto and none of the pics would load so she had to mail them to herself. That is, after she figured out how to do that.

3. I have a strong opinion on everything. I'm not shy about expressing my opinion either. I take after my peeps in that way.

4. Pop's toe nails is are the strangest thing I have ever eaten. They taste like chick-hen. I eat them all the time when I find them on the floor

A few weeks ago I entered a puzzle contest where the prompt was Rainbow. I had just painted several rainbow pieces that I was proud of. The result was a fail. I lost the contest but I wanted to share my favorite of the rainbow pieces I painted. Since it's so similar to the other puzzle, I'm not going to make another puzzle.

It will be my Feral Friday entry in the Caturday Art blog hop which is hosted by the lovely Athena Cat Goddess Wise Kitty and her mum to showcase the latest art by anipal artists using digital apps, Photoshop or original art. No talent? No problemo. There are hundreds of one-click apps for desktop or mobile devices that will turn your photos into digital works of art.

NEXT WEEK! After two postponements, the window replacement finally happened. If you're on Facebook, you've no doubt read what we decided was best for me. But was it? Or was it a fail? I'll be blogging about it next week. Stay tuned next week. Monday I also plan to have a Dr. Seuss post. Don't fail me now, TW.

PS. You got candles, did you get a meal for two also? Me, I wanted candles and a nice spa day but just had to settle for a LED bedside table lamp and my own tongue!

There are times when my human has issues getting me to behave properly with the props too - surprising, no?

WHAT IS IT WITH MEN LEAVING THEIR TOE NAILS EVERYWHERE?!? Sorry. Happened with EVERY guy I've lived with. But if you say they're good, CK, I'll take your word for it. We think you showed proper feline appreciation for the card. I mean, you only sit on what you like, right? The pictures are just for the humans (and it serves TW right for trying to make you do something you don't want to do)!

Most of us have an opinion about everything as well. After all, we are cats! We think your rainbow artwork is fab...can’t believe you didn’t win that contest. Oooh...we cannot even imagine eating toenails...maybe a toe or two though. Our mom gets mad when our dad does not pick up his toenails that he has cut. Have a great weekend. Eating toe nails. Grrrossss.

The candle is a Ball canning jar and lid. The inside was ModPodged, glitter, modPodge layers. I added in battery operated fairy lights so it would glow like CK'spurrsonality. The gift tag said, 'c'mon baby light my fire,'

Ooh, a jigsaw puzzle! Yay!
Angel used to chew on her spent whiskers, CK, which seem sorta like chewing on your dad's spent toenails...*shrug*

Glad the windows got finished. Cute photo fails. Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers- ick on the toenails though :) Social media confuses me too. I think your puzzle should have won. Beautiful art and thank you for the puzzle. XO

#4...eww! I LOVE your rainbow art! You could sell that piece!

Great artwork, CK. Yeah, I kind of figure social media is confusing for everybuddy, on some level.

I'm not always the most cooperative kitty when it comes to photos, that's why hamsters and other people's pets are all over my blog!
We have to say "eww" to #4. How do you find toenails laying around? You dad should wrangle those things, or vacuum!
I like your second rainbow art and I'm a little disappointed I don't get to do the puzzle. :-(

CK, your bloopers are stunning. That's probably because you're stunning. And thank you for joining in on the Friendly Fill-Ins! That being said, I absolutely did not expect that gnarly answer to #4. You certainly caught us by surprise on that one.
