Hola kitties! How was your week? Less than one week worth of sleeps until most
of us get turkey! Some of you have crazy peeps who don't eat meat or
turkey but they should at least buy some turkey breast luncheon meat for you.
I don't usually let these attacks spoil my day.
I let TW sleep until maybe 6 a.m. before I got up for breakfast which I had no
problem eating. By this afternoon, I was ready to run and play.
Being a multi-tasking cat, I combined snoopervising and helping Pop make his bed with playing with the shmousy laser dot. Trust me, I ran after it wheb I was through staring at it.
Then I drank some water before running through the pathetically-short tunnel
I've been provided with. The hall was too dark to get tunnel pics. I think I'd
be too embarrassed for you to see a cat of my stature playing in that poor
excuse for a tunnel. We still haven't found a tunnel without a porthole not
made of mesh.
Friendly Fill-ins
Now it's time for Friendly Fill-Ins, a weekly feature held at this time, which is already in progress. Our hosts—15andmeowing and Four Legged Furballs—need no innerductions as they are giants in the cat blogging world. They think up the fill-ins and I fill in the answers. My answers are boldface. This week my image relates to fill-in number two.1. I am thankful for Pop, TW and a warm, dry roof over my head. I just wish they'd stop making those terrible loud hamming on the roof over my head. They start promptly at 9 a.m. and continue all day. I'm also thankful for my furrends and those who read this blog.
2. I look forward to eating TURKEY on Thanksgiving. The peeps are farming out their meal this year. They'll be having turkey and the works but all they have to do is heat it up. Wish me luck that it's edible. I hope for their sake this works out.
3. I didn't realize I liked salmon loaf until I tried it. The peeps make it and for years I turned my stunning nose up at it. I love canned salmon cat food but something about human salmon in a can turned me off. Last year I finally tried some while Pop was mixing all the other slop in it and fell in love. When I know he's mixing salmon loaf, I'm on the table with my appetite.
4. There's no shame in drinking water. For years I would never let the peeps see me drink water. They were under the impression that I didn't drink it which might have been good cos they gave me extra stinky goodness to make up for it. Now I drink it all the time and I even let TW photograph it.
Caturday Art
My first art piece is dedicated to Tuna of Moon who left his Earthly body way too soon. We were all shocked and deeply saddened by his departure. His Food Servizz Gurl [sic] wrote a beautiful tribute to him on their Trout Towne Tabbies site. I had leaky eyes; TW was hysterically in tears; even Pop cried. He was truly an artist, whom I admired, in the litter box and had Spring and Fall showings of his work. I made this art (and, heh heh, puzzle) a week or so ago. It, along with my heart, goes out to Tuna, Mackerull and de Food Servizz Gurl and even cousin Dai$y.
Here's a more traditional art piece (and puzzle) to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving if I don't post before then.
Caturday Art is hosted by the lovely
Athena Cat Goddess Wise Kitty
and her mum to showcase the latest art by anipal artists using the many
different digital apps, Photoshop or original art.
I hope the humans bring home turkey this week! They are having Thanksgiving at a friend's home.
ReplyDeleteYour art im memory of Tuna of Moon is quite the perfect tribute, is it your personal creation? Perhaps originally the salmon? Well, matters not actually as it came from the heart. I (June) think I may have turkles twice, the building gives old peoples dinner once (that is my human) and then she will get another on the real turkey day from a neighbor. Good deal, mmm. Me too maybe. BTW: I am thankful for you.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you are okay CK, that asthma can sure be scary. Those were good answers and your art was the purrfect tribute to dear Tuna!
ReplyDeleteCK, you definitely are mellowing. Not throwing up on the bed, letting TW sleep in. We hope you get your turkey and that it is edible. We won’t be getting any. What a wonderfully fitting tribute to Tuna. Our Mom couldn’t stop crying for Tuna and his family. The Food Service Girl wrote such a beautiful post for him. Wishing you, TW and your Pop a very Happy Thanksgiving. Will there be a chocolate Turkey this year? XOCK, angel Lily Olivia, angel Mauricio, Misty May, angel Giulietta, angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Calista Jo, Cooper Murphy, Sawyer & Kizmet and our mom

Glad your asthma attack didn’t keep you down, CK. Wanna know something? I don’t like turkey! ~Ernie
ReplyDeleteLove your art. Tuna's memorial was heartbreaking. Mudpie always jumps off the bed when she starts coughing. It's like she needs to feel her paws on solid ground.
ReplyDeleteI am sorry you had an asthma attack. Glad you are OK> Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. I am glad you will be able to score some turkey. Very sad news about Tuna. I am glad you have recovered from your asthma attack. That is a very fitting art tribute to Tuna and I know he is appreciating it. The tribute in his own words was one of the most emotional pieces I have read and still brings me to tears now. I was very touched that Flynn was included. Can you believe it, I have tears again now!
ReplyDeleteYour Thanksgiving art is lovely and thanks for the puzzles.
What a beautiful piece of art you've made for Angel Tuna, CK, I'm sure he'll appurriciate it very much💗So sorry you had that asthma attack, but grateful that you recovered from it. CK, we are glad you were okay after that asthma attack. That must have been very scary for you, TW and Pop. We were going to say, we thought you rarely drank water, but it's good to know you're not ashamed about it anymore. We are very thankful for you, TW and Pop. XO
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful artistic tribute you made for Tuna!
