Hola kitties! Thanks for all the Gotcha Day wishes last week. I depreciate [sic] them. Why did TW put that [sic] in there. We know she's sick but that doesn't mean she can crap up my blog post. I haven't posted a stunning flashback lately so let's do it if we can get past the ugly color she used in the lead image! Just focus on exceptionally stunning pic of The Cat.
These pics if you haven't read the image are from June 2012. I was apparently on an uphill battle with Pop's bed. I told TW to leave all Pop's clutter in so you could see the incline I had to climb. Don't ax how the bed was on such a slant, it just was—or some cracked photographer took the pics lopsided.
How much further till the top? There are toys waiting for me.
I think I made it? Am I sweating? Of course not. I'm a cat.
I came up to get my nip canes and take a "selfie." Here goes. Am I too close to the flashless box? It looked blurrier before I resized the image. I can now join a 4th blog hop, this one hosted by Kitties Blue.
FRIENDLY FILL-INS
Now it's time to join the Friendly Fill-Ins, a weekly feature held at this time, which is already in progress. Our hosts—15andmeowing and Four Legged Furballs—need no innerductions as they are giants in the cat blogging world. They think up the fill-ins and I fill in the answers. My answers are underlined and in italics. This week my image relates very loosely to #4.
2. I have a subscription to Catster, thanks to Mudpie. TW subscribes to New York magazine just for the crossword puzzle. What a waste of green papers. It's a good thing TW can't afford all those subscription boxes or there'd be no room for my stuff in the condo.
3. Pain is my kind of humor. Others pain, that is. Any pain I can inflict upon the peeps makes me laugh.
4. I shouldn't show the peeps affection, but I do anyway. Can you believe TW has been saying that I have so much love to give. ME! Maybe I should sue her for defamation of character. Look at the image above. Do I look like a ball of love or the blood-thirsty feral cat that I am?
Caturday Art
The Cat's been busy slopping paint to canvas this week. I had a lot of fun and I'd like to share a couple of pieces with you, my faithful readers.
This piece is an update of art I first made in 2014. I did it as a sketch using cross processing. You can still see the cross hatch pattern in the wood. I don't know if I ever used it for Caturday Art but I think I may have created a Christmas card with it.
And now for something completely different. This work which I call Eyeing My Prey is completely new. Behold the bold brush strokes and colors. It's not like anything I've done before. A cat about the attack… a tunnel … some tissue paper … a masterpiece. Click the art and enjoy.
Caturday Art is hosted by the lovely Athena Cat Goddess Wise Kitty and her mum to showcase the latest art by anipal artists using the many different digital apps, Photoshop or original art.
My human takes lots of crooked photos of me too. She eventually learned to leave enough space around the subject (me) so that she could easily straighten them (usually) in Photoshop.
ReplyDeleteThat looked like hard work getting up that incline. One year I had a new point and shoot camera. I took loads of photos on a cruise and when I got home and put them on the PC and every one was on an incline. I am sure it must have been that camera! I was able to straighten most of them, but some cut too much off. Love both art.
ReplyDeleteWhoa....that was a major climb!!!
ReplyDeleteThe artwork is great and thanks for the puzzles.
