Last Sunday was Flag Day but I didn’t get around to putting up a post. 52 Snapshots of Life give me another chance to show my colors cos the theme for week 25 is Flag. I’m all over this! 52 Snapshots of Life is a weekly photo challenge hosted by The Lazy Pit Bull that anyone with a social media account can play using the hashtags #52Snapshots or #TLPB, They don’t discriminate if you don’t have a blog.
We usually have an American flag displayed somewhere around the condo. Gramps was a WWII veteran and when the peeps visit his grave, they usually come home with the flag that the VFW place there. You can see one of those flags in the snapshot above.
We also have another flag hanging in the condo. The peeps are huge Yankee fans so they have a Yankee flag on display. Obviously it’s not this flag otherwise I wouldn’t be posing with it. They got this one way, way back in 2009 when the team won it’s last championship. It’s been a long time but they still have more championships than any other team in sports.
Enough flags cos it’s time to move on to the Caturday Art Blog Hop hosted by Athena and Marie. You don’t have to be a cat to participate but you do need a blog.
This week we decided to do a one click in an online photo editor called Pixiz that I’ve seen many of you use. I didn’t have much luck at first cos every filter kept coming up in black and white no matter how colorful the sample was. I finally used the vivid color filter and really like the drawing effect. It almost looks like an exotic tat. You can biggify it to see the nuances.
Are you all ready for Father’s Day? I’m gonna give Pop a tattoo but I’m not sure if I want to needle his ankle or hand. Heh-heh. Does your male human have body art?
There are no tattoos on the Farm. Better be careful or you;ll find yourself all tatted up CK

ReplyDeleteMy Mom has some recent body art - I "added" it yesterday to her arm accidentally when she was putting me back on the floor after carrying me around a bit. OOPS.

ReplyDeleteLove the artwork CK. You look so ...so ...so nosy! Sorry couldn't help myself. Your artwork makes ypu look like a cat in the 50's. All you need is a nip malted beside you and the picture would be complete.

ReplyDeleteThat artwork is just amazing! Truffles' gramps doesn't have a tat, but I've considered getting a little paw print tat myself. I'm probably not brave enough to ever go through with it though :)

ReplyDeleteAnd speaking of Tats, my human brother has an old school tat (only in black) all over his back of a pirate ship in a storm and then down his leg is a mermaid and a diver. This July, when my brother is on holiday, they are going to joins the 2 on his bum!
So far it has taken 4 years and 52 hours. His friend is a tattoo artist. Usually he (his friend) has to do what other peoples wants, but my brother's tattoo is his personal art and it is gorgeous!
