Blog posts sometimes write themselves. I was trying to decide what to write about so I thank the Lone Star Cats for nominating me for the Shine On Award and giving me a blog post. I’ve lost track of what awards I’ve received but I think this might be my first time for this one.
There are four rules for me to toss aside and break if I care to.
- Visit and thank the blogger that nominated me.
- Acknowledge that blogger on my blog and link back.
- Share seven random facts about myself.
- Nominate up to 15 bloggers for the Shine On award, provide a link to their blog and notify them on their blog.
Facts … you want facts? My life has been an open book since I started this blog.
- I’m stunning. When TW sent my Petfinder link to her BFF Pauline, she received an email back with the comment that I was a very stunning cat. Since I am, the description stuck. In fact, last week over lunch, Aunt Pauline mentioned to TW that I’m still the most stunning cat she’s ever seen.
- I’m a very picky eater. All I got at the shelter was Iams kibble and to this day I prefer kibble to stinky goodness. The peeps only give me kibble for a treat. Bummer.
- I’m still partly feral. I like to bite and attack the peeps so sue me.
- I’m part Russian Blue but my tailio has tabby stripes.
- I only use the right side of the litter box in the front.
- I don’t like shrimp, bacon or beef in cat food or human food.
- I once sat in a plate of cranberry jelly. Heh heh.

So there you have it. Here’s where I break the rules. The buck stops here. Anyone who covets this award can have it. The little ghetto kitteh is no nominating committee plus rule #4 seems like a lot of work.
