Wednesday Word—Chicken

I’m here on my prayer rug to talk about a topic near and dear to me. Food.

When TW was at Blogpaws last month, she brought home a lot of samples for me to try. She really scored at the Chicken Soup for the Soul® booth. They gave her a 5-lb bag of their Indoor with Hairball Control Formula kibble. Disclaimer: Even though we received the food for free, we received no green papers and the opinions are honest and my own. No one tells this little ghetto kitteh what to say or eat. Na mean?

Being as this is Adopt A Shelter Cat Month, I thought I’d begin this review by telling you how the company created their new pet food packaging which shows the loving, devoted relationship between humans and their pets. They partnered with Outreach to Pets in Need (OPIN), a shelter in Stamford, CT, and found 11 models who were recently rescued, looking to find their furever homes or adopted. The model on the Indoor with Hairball Control, Goblin, was adopted at six months of age after being surrendered twice. Goblin’s story is much like my own. I was finally adopted by the peeps at around six or seven months old after being returned at least once.

I’m A Long-Lean-Biting Machine

When I stretch out, my cat bed can’t hold all of me.

I’m sure you’ve all heard the adage “Size Matters.” I’m here to tell you it’s true. This morning I was sleeping next to TW in bed all stretched out. I went from one side of the pillow to the other. Instead of snapping a pic first so she wouldn’t have to sift through 5,000 file footage pics, she fumbled around and got out a tape measure. She wanted to see how long I was just for the halibut.

My Comfort Zone

Love to sink my tired body into this pillowtop mattress.

Cats can find comfort in lots of different places and positions inside and outside as I’m sure those with cats already know. My favorite comfort spot is TW’s pillowtop mattress. It’s so soft and comfy. I’ll bet she bought it with me in mind. Why am I telling you this today? You probably guessed that Comfort is this week’s photo challenge in the 52 Snapshots of Life photo game hosted by The Lazy Pit Bull. Anyone with a social media account can play using the hashtags #52Snapshots or @TLPB,

1731 & 125 Are Good Fotos … or Are They?

#125 shows ME and a stuffie.

A few weeks ago, the Trout Towne Tabbies did a much recommended (by me) post titled "1731 and 125 wuz good yeerz … ore were they?” so I decided to use those numbers for today’s lucky Friday Foto Frenzy. You’ll have to read their post to find out what the numbers stand for. For those new to this blog and the Foto Frenzy, my followers pick the numbers and I show the corresponding fotos totally unphotoshopped or edited.

Wednesday Word—Blogpaws

There was no time for an EZ during the Blogpaws’ conference.

TW has been home from the Blogpaws conference in Nashville for over a week and I think it’s time she showed you pics of some of the fun Plush CK and Mario2 had on the trip. We sat in the back seat for the long car ride and occasionally got out to stretch our paws.
