Dancing With Dr. D.

Dancing With Dr. D.

This post actually has nothing to do with dancing and a lot to do with abuse. Abuse of The Cat. The kitteh's luck finally ran out. The calendar showed it was April and even though I hadn't gotten my usual April asthma attacks, the peeps dragged me kicking and screaming to the stabby place aka the Secaucus Animal Hospital. All sorts of mayhem took place before we even left the house which was far more inneresting than the actual visit. Lemme set the stage.

Fun With Bloopers

Fun With Bloopers

Chill, baby, that's the name of the game on Friday. I be chillaxing as I present this collection of unedited random Foto Frenzy fotos and this month's bloopers. You'll want to stay till the end to see the bloopers too.

Do You Know Your Cat?

Do You Know Your Cat?
Do you think you know me?

If you're a human, how well do you know your cat? I'm sure all your humans know you well enough to know when something is amiss. On one hand, they want to know when something is wrong; on the other hand you don't want to be dragged off to the dreaded vet when it's nothing. You try to give them little signs which are usually overlooked or misinterpreted. It's not like you can shout I'M FINE so they leave you alone.

TW noticed Friday night that something was wrong with me. Not terribly go-to-the-ER-vet wrong, but definitely not right. She mentioned it to Pop who called her a worry wart.

Wednesday Word—Chicken

I’m here on my prayer rug to talk about a topic near and dear to me. Food.

When TW was at Blogpaws last month, she brought home a lot of samples for me to try. She really scored at the Chicken Soup for the Soul® booth. They gave her a 5-lb bag of their Indoor with Hairball Control Formula kibble. Disclaimer: Even though we received the food for free, we received no green papers and the opinions are honest and my own. No one tells this little ghetto kitteh what to say or eat. Na mean?

Being as this is Adopt A Shelter Cat Month, I thought I’d begin this review by telling you how the company created their new pet food packaging which shows the loving, devoted relationship between humans and their pets. They partnered with Outreach to Pets in Need (OPIN), a shelter in Stamford, CT, and found 11 models who were recently rescued, looking to find their furever homes or adopted. The model on the Indoor with Hairball Control, Goblin, was adopted at six months of age after being surrendered twice. Goblin’s story is much like my own. I was finally adopted by the peeps at around six or seven months old after being returned at least once.

Wednesday Word—Over-Stimulated

Don’t tell a soul but some Woman is looking to get BIT and bit hard!

Just wait until I’m finished playing. See how over-stimulated I’m getting? I’m up on two paws. This doesn’t bode well for either of my peeps. But that will have to wait; I have a rubber string to attack first.

I Got You Babe #RecipeForMoments

This is a love story. I have a well-earned hard-as-nails, take-no-prisoner, bad you-know-what reputation. My furrends, however, know that deep down inside I’m a Daddy’s girl. That’s why I’m happy to be participating in the Nature’s Recipe for Moments campaign presented by Nature’s Recipe®. I want the world to know about the special bond I have with my Pop. It started when he fell hard for my photo on PetFinder.com.
