Feral Friday: They'll Never Find Me

Hola kitties! It's ME time again which just so happens to be my favorite time of the week. I'd ax how you are but this blog is all about Me. I have a flashback this week. Usually I try to find photos which haven't been published before but these ran back in 2014. I have a couple of new readers since then. It may appear in these shots that I'm hiding under Pop's bed. Pictures do lie. That couldn't be further from the truth. If I were hiding, would I look so defiant?

Feral Friday Flashback: They'll Never Find Me

This flashback is from December, 2013. I hear you saying "Keisha, if you're not scared of nothing, why does it appear that you're hiding 'neath Pop's bed?" I'm not.

Feral Friday: They'll Never Find Me

I'm not cowering in fear. I'm playing hide and seek with TW. This is a great hiding place where she'll never think to look for me. I'm totally hidden.

Feral Friday: They'll Never Find Me

We also played a game where I'd run through the house with her waddling after me. She used to get so upset when I ran under Pop's bed and would say something like "It's a game, CK. I thought you liked when I pretend to chase you. I'm not trying to hurt you."

Feral Friday: They'll Never Find Me

Here I am! I hid really well, didn't I? I'll have to remember this spot for next time I hear the "V" word.

FRIENDLY FILL-INS

Let's answer some of these Friendly Fill-Ins, a weekly feature held at this time, which is already in progress. Our hosts—15andmeowing and Four Legged Furballs—need no innerductions as they are giants in the cat blogging world. They think up the fill-ins and I fill in the answers. My answers are boldface. This week my image relates to number four.

Feral Friday: They'll Never Find Me

1. My favorite character from a film, tv or book is was Salem Saberhagen. Sabrina, the Teenage Witch was a stupid show but Salem made the show. Currently we like Chloe from The Secret Life of Pets. Of course we've never seen the films but there is a stuffie Chloe sitting atop the tv so someone around here must like her. My favorite character in a blog is ME!

2. The one word I would use to describe myself is STUNNING. Duh!

3. If I had to give you my best piece of advice, I would tell you be true to yourself. No one else is worth it. If someone doesn't like how you look or act, it's time to move on. They ain't worth the paper they're printed on. Oh, and if they have money, take that before you split.

4. Most cat food will never compare with some people food. Gimme rotisserie chicken, Thanksgiving turkey or luncheon meat over cat food any day of the week. This includes Chinese and Mexican food. Unfortunately I don't get enough of the people food and too much of the cat food.

CATURDAY ART

Caturday Art is hosted by the lovely Athena Cat Goddess Wise Kitty and her mum to showcase how talented us anipal artists are. We can use the many different digital apps, Photoshop, AI art or share original art. You can even tap into Mr. A.I's creativity.

Feral Friday: They'll Never Find Me

I pulled this from the archives and added some fresh brush strokes. I am just so perfect.

Feral Friday: They'll Never Find Me

For my weekly AI art, I used the descriptor "very simple sketch of a gray and white cat using light pastel color" and provided a base closeup image. Mr. A.I. provided a "very stunning sketch" of this kitteh.

Usually we have to work at this AI stuff to get one decent image. This week we got three. We might have to publish a few next week. TW doesn't know what to do with herself without playing with AI all night. I guess she doesn't remember she has a CAT.

Would you like to comment?

  1. Playing hide-and-seek is always a good way to avoid any visitors, CK.
And as always, your art is fab, and I'll puzzle just as soon as I can...thank you.

  2. Keisha, we know you are fearless! Love all your photos! We like your answers, you couldn't have picked a better word than "stunning" to describe yourself! Love your art with the added brush strokes, I really like those hints of texture! The AI art is nice too!

  3. Salem Saberhagen - great choice! And of course stunning would be the word.

  4. Watch out with that AI stuff, I understand some peeples have been arrested in that AI world, though sadly not yet in the real world. I am putting the dunce cap on mine Mommy and making her sit in a corner as she still cannot use AI, and I would so like to see me AI-d at least once before I am an old lady, which will be tomorrow when I leave the terrible two's behind and become 3. She doesn't know it yet (hush hush please) but I've hidden away some of that "two action" in the closet, it came in handy this past year when I wanted something real bad, so I plan to use it in the future. You are stunning, I'll compliment you, OK, you are very very stunning. If you weren't already the most stunning cat, I'd steal that title from you. But you are, so I can't. Bye now, June.

  6. You are stunning and so clever to find new places to hide when they use the V word! And of course, your art is brilliant!

  7. You are very good at playing hide and seek. Your art is beautiful. I still can't get a handle on the AI art. I keep creating monsters. In the last one Flynn had more than 8 legs or maybe they were tails. Who knows?

  8. CK you have me cracking up at number 3!!!! I totally agree with you!!!!! Don't feel bad about repeating photos, I don't remember what I did yesterday let alone what I saw around 10 years ago! lol!! Love you!

  9. We always love your art. I've been playing with AI but can't seem to get a tortie to look right. Do they know what a tortoiseshell cat is? Poor Mudpie can't hide under the bed...there's no room under there! MOL

  14. It goes without saying that you are stunning, CK! We haven't even tried AI yet. And as for your hidey place - it's furry impawtant to have a good hidey place, especially when your Human is planning a visit for you to the dreaded v-e-t!

  15. Your answer to number 2 is perfect, CK. You are stuning, indeed! Always and forever! XO

  16. Why do they always thing we're "hiding" when we're just being cozy under the bed. If they think about it, the bed makes a perfect ceiling for us.
