Feral Friday: Snoopervising

Hola kitties! Lemme get right down to the nitty gritty. Since I live here, I've gotten four squares a day, lotsa toys and some playtime. Being a cat, I don't really have to do anything to return the favor but I feel I have two responsibilities. Patrolling and snoopervising. I'm retired from patrolling but still take the snoopervising seriously especially when it has to do with my bed.

Feral Friday: Snoopervising

Here are some pics where I'm assisting Pop in making our bed. OK, maybe not assisting but snoopervising. These were all filmed/taken last week. You'll have to hover and read the secret messages to get the entire story.

Feral Friday: Snoopervising

What's going on here? I look good on blue. Continue.

Feral Friday: Snoopervising

Hiss! Hold on a moment! I see something that needs my attention.

Feral Friday: Snoopervising

What's under here? It appears to be lumpy.

Feral Friday: Snoopervising

You will see this pic as art later on in the post.

Feral Friday: Snoopervising

One! *chomp* *bite* (Blood and gore cropped out of pic.)

Feral Friday: Snoopervising

Hold on a moment, Pop. I have to do some cleaning. I see TW is filming this.

Feral Friday: Snoopervising

Yellow? I don't think so!

Some of the above pics could be considered photo fails cos they were culled from a few videos. We will be joining Melissa and Mudpie's blog hop.

FRIENDLY FILL-INS

Let's answer some of these Friendly Fill-Ins, a weekly feature held at this time, which is already in progress. Our hosts—15andmeowing and Four Legged Furballs—need no innerductions as they are giants in the cat blogging world. They think up the fill-ins and I fill in the answers. My answers are boldface. This week my image relates to number four.

Feral Friday: Snoopervising

1. 1961 down 49 to go. Maybe by the end of the year I will have posted 2000 times.

2. It's all fun and games until someone gets bitten. Any volunteers?

3. By some miracle, I let Pop put that stuff in my ear. Not to mention clean it out. TW thought I'd tear him apart when he tried.

4. Unless I'm in the mood, I rarely play. Now that I'm older, I have to be in the mood to play. That mood usually strikes just as TW sits down to eat. My fave is the red dot but mostly I just want to run through the tunnels and jump up in the Tower of Power.

CATURDAY ART

Caturday Art is hosted by the lovely Athena Cat Goddess Wise Kitty and her mum to showcase how talented us anipal artists are. We can use the many different digital apps, Photoshop, AI art or share original art. Actually all the art programs/apps use AI but they employ picture to picture, rather than text to pictures.

Feral Friday: Snoopervising

Despite this being National Crayon Day, I'm being a rebel and creating my illustration with acrylics. I have drawed this illustration for your viewing pleasure. Check out the atomic whiskers!

Feral Friday: Snoopervising

The art I've instructed Mr. A.I. to create uses the following prompt. Oops, we deleted the prompt. Heh heh. I think it was something like "cat on a ledge outside a door." I used a pic where I'm outside the condo in my Tower of Power. Pretty darn cool how they changed it to wood, brick and marble!

AI is definitely a crap shoot. On the Cats With Blogs FB page, I've offered a few tips for those whose AI art may not be exactly what they're looking for. I experimented with Night Cafe but I think the tips apply to most AI apps. If you're not on FB and want me to post them in this space, let me know in the comments.

  1. Totally awesome art, we are particularly drawn to the first one with the cat-scratching technique you've so artfully applied to it, most appropriately too, and of course the bright colors which we're partial too. (Oops, sentences not to be ended with prepositions ...) Sigh. Right now, however, we are scanning calendar for a date when, of course we'll check with you first, we can have a bed-making-contest. See who finishes first, er, last. Right now, have told mine Mommy it is time for a change, as there are 2.5 blood spots on the sheets and yes, I admit to causing them when said sheets were being drawn around the corners. My best work that day. I have tried to count the number of little claw-picks on those sheets, but unfortunately have not yet learned to count that high. She is considering spending my Temptations treat fund monies on new sheets, to that I say "sh...tz". Sorry but I must go now, she is demanding to use this computer to see if anyone (probably not) has commented on her/my post today. Actually, I peeked and she's looking at sheets on Amazon ... I say "treats not sheets"!

  2. Enjoyed the series of pictures and the fill-ins today, CK. Nice art using the AI programs. I especially like the wide range of colors in the first picture!

  3. You are such a good helper with making the bed. I am sure there was no blood. :) Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. I am sure you can get to 2000 posts by the end of the year. And sure, you can bite me. Cute photo fails. I love both of your works of art. Thank you for the puzzles. XO

  4. Oh yes, changing of the sheets always requires cat snoopervision. Good job, CK!

  5. We don't know why you continually want to chomp on Pop, CK.
Lovely art, and I'll puzzle soon...thanks.

  6. I never go to the facebook page so yes, please post tips here. I have no idea how to use AI by using one of MY photos. Also, I love the photo and caption where you are yelling CK lol. Your artwork is just GORGEOUS!!!

  7. You're always so creative with your art! Please post the tips here too. I'm having trouble getting AI to do anything that makes sense MOL. You were an excellent snoopervisor with Pop. Mudpie has been very playful this week, making me think her ear had been making her feel very icky.

  8. That was some mighty fine snoopervising CK, you sure work hard and those were good fill-in answers too. Your art is super cool but we're staying away from AI, at least for now.

  9. Totally cool artwork! I haven't tried AI yet, I might check it out soon though. Did you bite off Pop's hand for putting yellow sheets on your bed? I'm sure that a lot of people would want a bitey from you, you're kind of like Elvis (the young, good looking one). A bite would make a great souvenir. Sending healing thoughts to everyone in your townhouse. Have a good weekend!

  10. We are going to have to go play with Night Cafe, we haven't tried that sort of AI yet. Mom so wants the AI that is able to fix your pictures so they are studio quality. But our graphic card won't support it.

  11. Oh we meant to tell you we love the pastel ears you have in the first picture. And we think the yellow sheets are cheerful.

  12. Excellent snoopervising, CK! We bet Pop appreciated that -- but maybe not the attacking him part. :)

  13. Yes please for the tips. I hardly ever go on FB even though Ivor uses my account all the time. I don't get on at all with AI art. Night Café creates monsters, and I tried a different today, Wombo something, and I couldn't even create a user name because it kept giving me a big red cross no matter what I tried.

  14. Beautiful art as always! I am always ready for playtime as soon as my mum goes to bed. This annoys her big time!

  15. We love your art, CK - and of course, any tips you care to share about using AI (which We haven't dared try yet) would be welcome.
