Feral Friday Orange Flashback Fun

Hola kitties! Did anyone go to the Chilipawty? It was fun. I donated some prizes and even won one. We went over our goal of $500 and raised $617 for SAFE Haven for Cats. Not that I was counting but I raised $155 just during my DJ shift. They love me I tell you! I believe the donation page is still open. Now on to the flashback from February 2011.

Feral Friday Orange Flashback Fun

My flashback features one of the big orange rocks although this one no longer works.

The bulb blew and shattered and almost caused a fire. It used to act as our nightlight. Now the peeps have some cheap plastic cat thing made in China. How many times I drag TW into the front room during the night, she needs a light or she'd prolly step on me.

This is one of the few pics where I'm on the back of the couch. I only go up here when it's too dark to get a pic.

Friendly Fill-ins

Now it's time for Friendly Fill-Ins, a weekly feature held at this time, which is already in progress. Our hosts—15andmeowing and Four Legged Furballs—need no innerductions as they are giants in the cat blogging world. They think up the fill-ins and I fill in the answers. My answers are boldface. This week my image relates to number three.

Feral Friday Orange Flashback Fun

1. If you see me at my food it means SIP. Shelter in place, that is. No one is allowed to move while I'm eating.

2. I am feeling desperate about my cat litter situation. The peeps still haven't ordered more. They must have used most of that hunnert lbs.

3. I wish I could go back and relive the moment when I got my first tunnel. That was a great moment. I was too scared to enjoy the moment when the old timers took me home.

4. I would like to swap lives with no one for a day. I'm living the good life here. Sure, we don't got much green papers or a mansion but I got a roof over my head and four squares a day. I got two tunnels, two scratching posts and about six cat trees. I got two litter boxes and a Pop who cleans them and dotes on me. I DJ pawties on Twitter and blog. Why would I want to be some other cat?

Caturday Art

Two new masterpieces from the mind of CK. I wonder which you like the best. The second is the puzzle.

Feral Friday Orange Flashback Fun

The first a more traditional painting.

For the second I used a tie-dye approach. Would you buy this t-shirt?
Caturday Art is hosted by the lovely Athena Cat Goddess Wise Kitty and her mum to showcase the latest art by anipal artists using the many different digital apps, Photoshop or original art.

Would you like to comment?

  1. Yes, CK, I would buy a t-shirt!
Definitely like the tie-dye version best, but that's because it's got brighter colors, which is my raison d'etre.
    Off to puzzle...thank you.

  2. We love the colors in the tie-dye one. We agree with your last Fill-in. Why would you want to be anyone else?

  6. Good to hear the fundraiser was a success, CK! Good answers and I love the art. I think both versions would make good t-shirts!

  7. I did go to the pawty and I left a tip for you. :) Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. Glad you don't want to trade places with anyone-you do have it pretty darn good. I love both works of art, but the first is my favorite because I can see you beautiful face more clearly. Thank you for the puzzle. XO

  10. We have a big pink rock. Momma says its salt. I licked it and yes, it's very tasty. However, the bulb burned out and Momma has yet to replace it. Salt lamps are good for breathing and mood enhancement. Tell yoor Momma to ditch the cheap plastic thing and get yoo a nice pink rock. Love, Dori

  14. Awesome job raising money during your shift, CK. Of COURSE they all love you. So do we!

  16. CK! Kudos! You are the bestest DJ EVER! We applaud TW for "voicing" your work. And I, Marv, LOVE your fill-ins. Especially the SIP! I wish my Peeps would do that when I am eating. You art this week is spectacular (just like you) the Tie Dye effect is splendorifierous. And that Himalayan lamp! Kozmo tells me there was one around here and Queen Nellie broke it bounding around the living room. We hope that you, TW and Pops have a marvellously Happy (and healthy) week! Oh! Cinnamon wants to thank you for the purrayers. She is back on track and can't wait to get her stitches out. Purrs Marv

  17. You look stunning in front of the light, CK, it looks like a Himalayan Salt lamp, so I think you also get all the benefits of the energies that it radiates, especially on your beauty😸OMC and that artwork is fabulous like ever, they're both stunning! Pawkisses for a Happy, healthy week ahead to all of you. Hope TW is feeling better🙏🐾😽💞
