Feral Friday: Cooking With The Cat

Hola kitties! I thought I would show you some of my cooking prowess but once again TW's camera took rotten pics. So what else is new?

Feral Friday: Cooking With The Cat

I don't usually get involved with cooking since I have minions to do things like this. Salmon loaf is different. I want to be front and center helping out.

Feral Friday: Cooking With The Cat

Pop does most of the prep work and he likes to slip me a few tastes. We let TW melt the butter and wash the fresh parsley to keep her out of our furz.

Feral Friday: Cooking With The Cat

Yum! These are great noms. You gotta love being me.

Feral Friday: Cooking With The Cat

I'm gonna share the recipe here cos I have it right on my old PDA. I really need to transfer it to the i-pawd.

Friendly Fill-ins

Now it's time for Friendly Fill-Ins, a weekly feature held at this time, which is already in progress. Our hosts—15andmeowing and Four Legged Furballs—need no innerductions as they are giants in the cat blogging world. This week Lorianne is hosting solo so Ellen could spend time with Sammy, who I'm sending lots of healing purrz too. She thought up the fill-ins and I fill in the answers. My answers are boldface. This week my image relates to number one.

Feral Friday: Cooking With The Cat

1. Time flies when you have a comfy place to nap. Problem is I'll be all nice and comfy on the chair next to my Pop and he suddenly goes in the other room. How rude is that. Then I'll have to innerupt my nap to go look for him.

2. Getting TW to do anything for The Cat takes forever. Srsly, I ax her to do something simple like clean my litter or my fountain and write a blog post and wait forever and a day. She still hasn't cleaned the fountain which I axed for weeks ago.

3. My cat mom getting hit by a car and becoming a young kitten orphaned on CommunaPAW is my earliest memory. My earliest memory in my new condo was seeing what was under TW's bed where I spent the first night.

4. Is it weird that I don't like bacon and prawns? Together or separately. I just have no taste for them.

Caturday Art

This is week number three of my modern abstract art project.

Feral Friday: Cooking With The Cat

I tried my paw at crazy quilting but with paint. Crazy quilting does not actually refer to a specific kind of quilting. The term "crazy quilting" is often used to refer to the textile art of crazy patchwork and is sometimes used interchangeably with that term. Doesn't it look kinda Africano in color and shapes?

Caturday Art is hosted by the lovely Athena Cat Goddess Wise Kitty and her mum to showcase the latest art by anipal artists using the many different digital apps, Photoshop or original art.

  1. This sounds yummy! My human always eats the bones from canned salmon - this was a tradition that started when she was a kid and her mother made salmon patties. Maybe she will let me have a taste if she makes this salmon loaf!

  2. Hello CK, meow. Hello TW, hope you are feeling good. Hello, Pop, stop leaving the chair and cat behind as that is rude to the cat, meow. Good bye now to all. I woke mine Mommy at 2:45 am this morning and she is not at all happy with me and so my 'puter time is not much today and essentially I am "grounded" from visiting my furriends which I do not understand. Most the time I am on the ground anywayz. Bye.

  11. I like your kitchen. I will have to try that recipe for my hubby. I made him baked salmon tonight that I marinated in maple syrup and soy sauce. Great answers to the fill-ins except I am sorry that your mom was run over, how sad. And I love your art. Thank you for the beautiful puzzle. XO

  19. Yes, it's so annoying when I'm napping on my mum's lap and she has to get up. But at least I get to stay on her warm seat and she has to sit somewhere else when she comes back.

    Lovely art!
