Happy 2022! Out with the Old Fails …

in with the new!

Hola kitties! It was the best of Christmases and it was the worst of Christmases all combined. My Christmas pics of mostly fails as you'll see. Balsam was a fail. I attended Catmas Eve but TW felt too crappy to let me DJ altho we did raise a lot of green papers. BUT—and it's a big BUT—we were all together. Oh, and there was ham. We're going to spotlight old fails from Christmas 2021.

From the minute the peeps brought Balsam in to meet me, I started sneezing. Instead of Fraser, they brought the wrong tree. I felt miserable that night. They debated what to do. Should they donate it or toss it. Our neighbor said they should wait a few days to see how I felt. Balsam sat nekkid waiting. 

I avoided it until a week later when it became obvious, it wasn't going anywhere. Yeah, my peeps are lazy. Needles were dropping left and right even though it was drinking. This was my first and one of my only trips by the tree. With some time and pred, my allergies got much better but now I got a drug problem (and laser eyes). KIDDING!

TW made some other mistakes but I don't consider this one of them. She does. She opened the new tunnel first. Ever see a child in a playground? As soon as the child goes down the slide, she runs right back to the ladder to do it again. That's how I was with the tunnel. TW shot the rocket, I raced through the tunnel to the rocket. Then I was back at the entrance of the tunnel to do it again. Over and over.

TW must have been drunk with coquito when she took this one. Oh, she says there was no flash cos she didn't want to blind me. If it's true, it's a nice sentiment and I appreciate it. You know what else I appreciate? PICS THAT ARE IN FOCUS!

I ignored everything else—even the Yeoww!!! crayons. We'd seen other blogging cats going nutz over them. Not me. Ho hum. Back to the tunnel!

That said, we haven't gotten good shots of my Secret Paws' package but we appreciate Spike William taking the time to pick out all those cool toys and treats. Thank you; thank you. We'll show the loot next week.

Now it's time for Friendly Fill-Ins, a weekly feature held at this time, which is already in progress. Our hosts—15andmeowing and Four Legged Furballs—need no innerductions as they are giants in the cat blogging world. They think up the fill-ins and I fill in the answers. My answers are boldface. This week my image relate to number one.

1. I had hoped to help TW clean her closet in 2021 but didn't. I would have but she never kept her promise to throw out everything she never expects to wear again.

2. A goal I have for 2022 is renew my domain name and keep on keeping on.

3. I'll be as old as I am now when 2021 ends. Can't say I'll be happy since 2022 will prolly be even worse than 2021.

4. I hope 2022 brings less chemo and more life for TW. I also hope it brings the end of the crony virus.

My art definitely isn't a fail even though it's been sitting on the floor of my gallery unused since last January. I call this Neon NYE CK and it reflects the lights and brightness of the season. NYE is all about glitz and lasers and neon. If it was posted another time of year, it was be iridescent CK. I'm washing in prep for my New Year's Eve date with ??. I ain't dishing.
