Hola kitties! Was I hiding in a box or maybe celebrating World Sleep Day? I could have been neighbor watching cos the joint was jumping. Lots of Hippies out tending to their garden which for some reason, they covered with Astroturf. Lots of Hippies polluting the air with cigarette smoke on the front porch. The "Giant" is home from vacation and things are quiet on the BBQ Bob terrace. Only one cookout now that the weather has warmed up. Oh, and they started to make lots of noise over our heads as they prepare for the upgrade of our building and complex. That wasn't a good thing at all.
Friendly Fill-ins
Now it's time to join the Friendly Fill-Ins, a weekly feature held at this time, which is already in progress. Our hosts—15andmeowing and Four Legged Furballs—need no innerductions as they are giants in the cat blogging world. They think up the fill-ins and I fill in the answers. My answers are underlined and in italics. Each week the image pertains to one of the fill-ins. This week it's #1.
1. I look forward to asthma every spring. The only good thing about spring according to The Cat is the window whiffies. Sometimes they bring asthma. Spring also mean the hotz are on the way. I can't handle the heat and humidity like I used to. I don't want to play or run. Yeah, I know I'm in a climate controlled condo but my body can still feel it.
2. The highlight of my week was corned of beef. Even if I didn't get hardly enough of it to taste it. I needed a magnifying glass to see the couple of pieces TW gave me.
3. I think stunning is the word that best describes me. It described me 16 years ago and it still does.
4. Nothing melts my heart like luncheon meat. I will even kinda purr for TW. Actually, I'm purring for the meat but TW thinks it's for her.

Caturday Art
Thought I'd do something different for this week's entry. The stunning cat went all comic book style.
I'm jealous, I didn't even get a smell of corned beef this year. Cool artwork.
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like there's lots of springtime activity around your neighborhood, CK! Love your art this week.
ReplyDeleteMy human doesn't eat red meat, so I've never smelled corned beef, much less tasted it.
We wondered where you were CK. Those were really good fill-in anwers, we didn't get to taste the corny beef at all. Love your stunning art!!!
ReplyDeleteBetter late than never- thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers except for the asthma. I hope this summer treats you better. I am glad you scored some corned beef. I love your art, that is one of my favorite effects. XO
ReplyDeleteWe didn't get ANY corned beef. Boo on our Mom. Good fill-in answers (not the asthma part!)
ReplyDeleteThat is one fine box CK. Glad you got corned beef we sure didnt. Very good fill ins too. I can image you being as old as me (14) but I guess we have been on the interwebs for a few day sweetie
ReplyDeleteGood answers CK and you are right, stunning is the right word for you! And the kitties and I love your art!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful art, CK!
ReplyDeleteI am with you on heat and humidity. When I had my op 10 years ago now, I think they removed my thermostat at the same time and I am always overheated. Luckily living on a peninsula we rarely get the forecast heatwaves. Anything over 65 and I want to live in the fridge! Your comic book art is lovely.
ReplyDeleteWe was wondering where you were! Thanks for the updates at Casa CK! Maybe BBQ Bob is a winter BBQer! And I have been having a not too bad spring this year. Last year the pollen killed me, I was wheezing for weeks. People thought I had covid and I was a cat! And the human is going to get her shot April 14! She is doing the happy dance. I think she needs dance lessons! Hope everyone there is A-OK and we hope you ALL have a marvellously happy day! Stop by the blog tomorrow. It is Cinnamon's birthday and we are having a Comment-a-thon!
ReplyDeleteThat springtime asthma is a real drag, CK. It makes us sad that you have to deal with it every year. :(
ReplyDeleteRoast beef and now corned beef - is this the start of a trend?
ReplyDeleteI hope it's an easy asthma season for you. Comic book style...are you off to fight crime? Or are you the bitey villain of the story?
ReplyDeleteMudpie loves spring but hates the hotz that follow!
