My wash ups take a lot longer than 20 seconds. Peeps sound like 20-second hand washes take all day. I hear and read their complaints about how hard washing is. Humans are–for lack of a better word—Karens.
You gotta make sure you get all the germs off. No telling where they be hiding.
Friendly Fill-Ins
Now it's time to join the Friendly Fill-Ins, a weekly feature held at this time, which is already in progress. Our hosts—15andmeowing and Four Legged Furballs—need no innerductions as they are giants in the cat blogging world. They think up the fill-ins and I fill in the answers which are underlined and in italics. This week my image relates to fill-in number three.
1. The peeps reminiscing old times is funny. You should have heard them the other day talking about moving a refrigerator down a flight of winding stairs. Guess you had to be there but it did sound funny.
2. I've written a fan letter to myself. I'm my biggest fan. HAH! TW wrote one fan letter when she was really young but she won't tell me who. Since then, she's just tried to meet her idols and has succeeded with many of them.
3. Playing the cello is easier than it looks. That's what the peeps call it when I wash my hind quarters. We cats know it's easy cos we've been doing it since we climbed outta the womb. The peeps marvel at the positions I get into while washing. They think it's so difficult. I'd like to see one of them do it.
4. Keeping it real is harder than it looks. I try to keep it real but I might have a soft spot for the peeps. Sometimes I'd rather spend quiet time with them rather than biting them but I have to bite to keep up the image. When TW tries to play with me, I'll get excited and bite her and then she says "game over" and walks away. I get punished for keeping it real which is why it's harder than it looks.
Caturday Art
TW couldn't believe her eyes when she saw this oil painting drying in my studio. She said I had to make it this week's art. I was thinking of using something a bit more festive but I gotta admit, this is stunning art. Click the image and the puzzle should open or click here for a different, more colorful version of the same art.
Caturday Art is hosted by the lovely Athena Cat Goddess Wise Kitty and her mum to showcase the latest art by anipal artists using the many different digital apps, Photoshop or original art.
Yeah, ya wonder what some of these humans were doing pre-Covid. Nasty!
ReplyDeleteThose were fun answers CK and your art is amazing today!
ReplyDeleteHumans are Karens. I laughed out loud.
ReplyDeleteI love your fill-ins. Kitties are so smart.
Have a fabulous day and weekend. ♥
Great artwork! We liked your Fill-in answers too!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the puzzle.
The Florida Furkids
You are one clean cat! All ready for Turkey Day now. And I love the art!
ReplyDeleteWe humans certainly have a lot to learn from kitties, Stunning Keisha, about washing and so many other things . . . great answers and gorgeous art today!
ReplyDeleteEven though I'm very good at keeping clean, my human still wipes me down after visiting the pet store. Like I can't do it myself!
ReplyDeleteGreat Photos and Fill-Ins CK and then the Art! Stunning! But that is just your all around skill and class shining through
ReplyDeleteGreat job bathing and you even remembered to get between your toesies. Thanks for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. I know you love the peeps, but have to keep up the tough girl image. I bet you get a lot of fan letters. Glad I wasn't there when moving the fridge- we have a moving piano story. Beautiful art. Thank you for the puzzle. XO
ReplyDeleteThat was a very thorough bat. You do keep yourself perfectly clean. The ar is stunning, and thanks for the puzzles.
ReplyDeleteBath and art!! This stupid Bluetooth keyboard keeps leaving letters out or adding random ones. I usually check before I publish.
Delete'Playing the cello', what an apt description! I love your art CK!
ReplyDeleteWe heard it as "Clean mind, clean body. Take your pick."
ReplyDeleteI love watching kitties bathe! Are your peeps like Mudpie's grandpa? He can remember 50 years ago like it was yesterday, but don't ask what he had for dinner last night.
ReplyDelete"Playing the cello"! Hahahahaha!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful art, and thanks for the puzzle.
Wow... great artwork!!
ReplyDeleteYour artwork is great this week, CK. TW and Pop moved a fridge down a spiral staircase? Wowee ... that's mind boggling!
ReplyDeleteYour artwork is beautiful for sure, but I wanted to share something relatable to what you said about keeping it real- I love spankings, and they're part of our nighttime routine here. I run to the entrance mat and turn so I can get "pats" on my hind quarters. I purr and coo like a pigeon, flop on my side and roll around, tugging and tearing at my nip pretzel. Then all of a sudden I turn and either swat at dad or at the very least growl and hiss, which he reads as me telling him to stop. When he walks away saying "that's enough, Cleo" I beg for more, and have even been known to chase after him so he'll play some more. Freak, I know...
ReplyDeleteYou look Furry Fierce in that furrst picture, CK! And no Wonder!
ReplyDeleteThe arty picture is furry - well, artistic.

Look at you all squeaky clean, CK! You're certainly stunning. And thank you for joining in on the Friendly Fill-Ins! Keeping it real sure can be a chore, can't it? Purrs!
ReplyDeleteWe can always count on you to keep it real. Keeping clean is important, especially when you have all that white fur to show off. Your art is cool, but all those wavy lines is making Mom a big googley-eyed.
ReplyDeleteWishing a special Thanksgiving filled with hope, health, and happiness during these stressful times.
