"Regrets, I've Had a Few" Flashback

Yo kittehs! I'm not trying to go all Frank Sinatra on you or anything. In my life, I have had few regrets. Flashback Foto #6642 is certainly a regret as is fill-ins number one and two. I try not to dwell on those things I can't change. I am what I am. For the most part, I've lived life the way I want. I've lived it My Way.

"Regrets, I've Had a Few" Flashback

Our first foto pick was a "selfie" from September 2011. #1927, chosen by good friend Edie, just so happens to be the year TW was born. Oh wait, she says it isn't. Same difference. No harm; no foul. High atop the Tree of Pain, I'm showing off my marvelous—though cut out of the frame—whiskers and stunning face. Had this been an actually selfie, I wouldn't have cut my whiskers out. All I'm wanting is a a game of rockets and I have to put up with her flashy box. A great video did come out of this shoot in which I get some good bites on TW. A second video was also shot that day on the Tree of Pain. TW was transferring a dull record album onto CD and I got some playtime cos she was as bored as I was. Sorry, Pop, I know you like this record but TW is my typist and she put the word dull in.

"Regrets, I've Had a Few" Flashback

Whoa! Kitties Blue chose #6642 from April 2016. This is a scary one, kitties, and certainly one of my regrets. I'm sitting on the table in Dr. D.'s examining room, waiting on her entrance. Let me use this opportunity to extend concatulations to Dr. D. on her new job. She's no longer at the vet place where she used to torture me I used to visit her. Her new gig is a longer trip for me but we're gonna try like heck to make it work. I may not always cooperate but I trust her and trust is half the battle. The peeps also trust her and appreciate that she'll take the time to listen to their concerns and not speak down to them. In this foto, you can see the trust in my eyes or maybe it's just fright or anger than I was rammed into this PTU with no thought to how Pop was hurting me. This is the look of a caged animal looking to bust out. I can't believe TW would photograph me during these stressful moments but she hate [sic] me.

"Regrets, I've Had a Few" Flashback

The Friendly Fill-Ins are hosted each and every week by 15andmeowing and McGuffy's Reader. They make up the fill-ins and I make up the answers. Each week my image relates to one of the fill-ins. This week it's number three.

1. I have never been able to touch our ceilings. That's always been my goal. We have 14-ft. ceilings and none of our furniture is tall enough for me to get near the ceiling. This leads me to fill-in number two.

2. I wish I could still jump up on things like I used to. I can still run crazypants through the condo but am very careful where I choose to jump.

3. Pop and a movie is my ideal winter night. I've always laid next to him while he watches some junk on the idiot box. He used to watch good movies but now it's just emergency room shows.

4. Keep calm and bite your humans. That's my motto.

CATURDAY ART one day early.

"Regrets, I've Had a Few" Flashback

This little ghetto kitteh might not be posting art on Caturday no more but I'm still an artistic genius. I did this little work in Lunapic. I call it A Long Winter's Night cos the colors remind me how stark and colorless winter is in our area. I'm showing some older pieces that never made the gallery so I can't tell you what filter was used.

This is my entry for tomorrow's art blog hop hosted by the lovely Athena Cat Goddess Wise Kitty and her mum. You can see digital art created on one of the online apps, Photoshop art and art that is painted or drawn by those with true talent.

Up above I shared a few of my regrets. Now it's turn-around time. Do you have any regrets to share?

Would you like to comment?

  1. I think that is Binga's motto too. Oh wait, she doesn't know how to keep calm.

  2. 14 foot ceilings makes me envious. The only way you'll get to that ceiling is shelves (or a ramp) going up the wall.

  3. We always enjoy your photos and your fill-ins were purrfect CK!

The Hutch has 11ft ceilings - and even on the top rung of my ladder I can't reach them. Yes, I's that vertically challenged!!! I love your art offering - I think it contains colours which remind me of the flames of an open fire and is therefore a warming image for a winter's day! Hugs and whiskeries, YAM-aunty xxx

  5. Maybe your p's can provide you with a ladder. When Grandpaw Greyson was with us (OTRB) he would climb all ladders, it would make hudad laugh. He especially loved trying to get into the attic. Love your motto! Purrs

  6. I watched your videos. TW is lucky she has got any fingers left! You do look like a wild animal in the second photo. I like your art. You look good in stripes.

  7. You look very annoyed in the PTU photo. I am glad your vet is still close enough for you to get to go to. Great answers to the fill-ins, especially #4. Sorry you couldn't touch the ceiling- was Fraser high enough that if you climbed it , you could reach? I like your art too. Have a nice weekend! XO

  8. Wow! Your caged look really is like a caged animal looking for escape, and revenge! Regrets here? Hmmm, we think our collective regret is a daily one: that we only ask our Mom to let some of us in and out of Ruby's private bedroom thirty times a day, instead of one hundred times a day, leading to our Mom, perhaps, regretting she couldn't just leave the door open 24/7.

  12. TW shoved you in the carrier and then took a picture of your misery?!? I'm thinking you should pose for some bite-y shots ... HMPH. Show pictures of HER misery. Not that video where she gets away scot-free! Title it, "I'm the SHARK!" ~Bear Cat

  13. I'm so glad you're still getting artsy! Emergency shows? EEW... (And no one sang My Way like Elvis, IMO)

  19. The never ending quest to reach the ceiling... or the top of that curio cabinet that's way up there, never ceases to amaze me. Even our 14 year old kitty manages to leap the levels to the top of their tall kitty tree in the window, though she has learned to use the carpeted ladder to come down more safely than just sailing over the side. :-)

Cuddling up for a movie sounds like a nice winter night to me, depending on the movie of course, but my furkids could care less as long as there is plenty of lap space available.

  20. Hi CK! First your fill ins are great! I can reach our ceilings! I can get on top of the kitchen cupboards and the top shelf in the closet! When I get up there though, all I do is stare at the ceiling!
And #4 I LOVE to bite my Mom!
Your Art is wonderful this week CK!

  22. Love the art! We have one cat tree where our cats can touch the ceiling. Never seen them do it, though.

  24. George has always wanted to touch the ceiling, and to fly. So far, he has not accomplished either.
Clyde sings to the radio when he has to go to the vet.
    Have a great week. Hugs.
