What's that Crazy Woman Up to Now?

Wait till I tell you what TW did this time! I know she's very busy with all the on-line shopping and doctor appointments before her insurance gets cut off, etc. but she pulled a good one. Actually she's done it more than once.

What's that Crazy Woman Up to Now?

TW is putting shower caps on all the food, including my cat food, before she puts it into the refrigerator. Is that the craziest thing you've ever heard? It started with the turkey stuffing and now there's shower caps on all the food.

Does your human do cray-cray stuff like this too?

  1. I never heard of such a thing! But then, my human never puts our food in the fridge... that kind of ruins it for us anyway.

  2. My momma duz some crazy stuff - but not dat one (so far anyways).

  3. My human does crazy stuff, too. Why just this morning she couldn't find my medicine. She looked everywhere and then finally found it in the cheese drawer in the fridge - only my medicine comes in a pill bottle and doesn't need to be kept cold. Sigh.

  4. OMC, our mom puts those weird shower caps on everything in the big cold box too! How crazy! We keep telling to just let us finish off the cat food and there would be no need to those. Crazy mom! Purr

  5. Yikes! It might make sense if she stored food in the shower but in the refrig? Cray-cray doesn't even begin to describe it CK.

  6. Explanation please. You can't just dangle that story in front of us and not explain. Back in the stone age, tiny shower caps were available to put over cans, but these look like the real deal. Is their a shortage of saran wrap in N.Y. You look quite fetching in your cap, C.K., but that is to be expected. Please let TW know that the first place Mom listed Sawyer was our Nextdoor forum website. It is always awash in a sea of lost and found pets. No nibbles on Sawyer! 7. MOL! Love your shower cap shot. Hmmm...I guess it's not that crazy. As long as she's putting the food in the fridge and not the shower.

  8. Our mom does weird stuff all the time. This just may give her new ideas so we're not letting her read this. P.s. You look adorable in your shower cap!

  9. You look so adorable with your shower cap. You think that is bad, when I shop with my mom ( AKA Grammie) she puts a plastic bag on her head instead of using an umbrella. XO

  10. The shower cap looks very cute on you, CK. Kind of like grandma in Little Red Riding Hood. Look out Mr. Big Bad Wolf!
By the way, TW is very observant and has a good visual memory. I did use my coloring design for a T shirt.

    1. That's what TW said! She said all I needed was some wire-rimmed glasses.

  11. I think it's clever! I never thought of using shower cap to cover the food :-) You look super cute wearing the shower cap!

  12. Hokey smokes, CK...I haven't seen a shower cap in a bazillion years! Guess that's because I cut all my hair off, and don't need to keep my 'do' from getting wet. We agree that TW is cray-cray, but it's very compelling at the same time!

  13. You're not alone, CK, Claire has some mini-shower caps to cover our food too... Purrs

  14. LittleDog, Misha, would attest to the fact that I do crazy stuff all the time. Can I just say you look better in the shower cap than the food.

  16. Now I know what to do with all those free shower caps I seem to end up with. Pink definitely suits you.

  17. CK, there used to be a food wrap that was just like these shower caps. It was elasticized and you put it over the food to keep it fresh. The mom used them all the time and would put them over our food dishes to keep our food fresh. Then they stopped making these and the mom was sad because she said it worked way better than Saran Wrap or foil.

  18. MOL...sounds like TW just found those cute shower caps for food in $ store. Mom has those too. She only puts our fish in the fridge. In the winter she doesn't have to refrigerate our food. It's cool enough here.

  22. You look stunning in your shower cap, CK, but what's the haps with the shower caps in the fridge???

  23. Reusable plastic wrap with an elastic band to hold it tight to the container. I think you're mom's very resourceful. We use lots of flipped over plates as lids and waxed paper instead of plastic wrap (mom avoids plastic).
