Keep Calm and Bite Someone

The title of this post is my mantra. I chant it all the time. This week I'm ready to bite Feedburner. It seems they are not delivering my posts to everyone on my mailing list. I wonder if that's why only like !% of those subscribed actually click to go to the post. If you're subscribed and aren't getting my updates, please let me know in the comments. Dunno what I can do about it but I'd like to know if it's more than one or two people. All I can suggest is unsubscribe and then resubscribe. Definitely resubscribe or I may have to bite someone. I'm totally frenzied so let's view some fotos.

Keep Calm and Bite Someone

The Funny Farmers voted for #2931. It was taken in January 2013 on Pop's bed. Although I look too calm to do any biting, I was soon biting and bunny kicking my Hauspanther mod kicker. It's great for relieving daily stresses. TW should try it. Oh wait, she's not allowed to play with my toys or use my scratching posts.

Keep Calm and Bite Someone

Speaking of scratching posts, this brings me to #407 from June 2007 and chosen by Lone Star Cats—Travis, Crockett and Angelique. Even young CK loved to work her claws on a horizontal scratching post. The pappawrazzi shot me while my back was turned! Now that wasn't cool. This was a really old condo setup. My pink perch is currently where the scratcher was. And, HAH!, even though it's a laundry day, those white objects are pieces of tissue paper, not loose socks.

Keep Calm and Bite Someone

The Friendly Fill-Ins are hosted each and every week by 15andmeowing and McGuffy's Reader. They make up the fill-ins and I'm happy to participate. My answers are truthful, so help me Cod. I can't speak for TW since she lies a great deal. That's why I don't let her answer any.

1. Keep calm and BITE SOMEONE.

2. HUMANS disappoint me. My blogging number disappoint me too but I can't listen to the news without hearing about the shortcomings of the human race. That new food from Chewy disappoints me too.

3. THE WOMAN is my TEETHING RING (see above)

4. In retrospect, I'm glad the oldsters adopted me. Sure, I'd love to be rich with wealth, live in a nice mansion and never having to want for anything; but being rich with love is ok too. I just stress a little when I see the peeps stressing over the bills and stuff.

So there you have it straight from The Cat. My life is an open book. Remember to leave a comment if you're not getting an e-mail after I publish my posts Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. If you're not a subscriber, what are you waiting for? You can find the signup on the sidebar. All I need is your e-mail address; no personal info. You won't be sorry and you won't be spammed either.

  1. You and Binga! Except I don't think Binga bites as much as you do, CK. And she only does it if someone really super annoys her and refuses to stop whatever annoying thing they are doing.

  2. MOL - ya sound like my momma - she's ready to bite someone today.

  3. Mol! I love number one fill in. That should be your next slogan. Kisses Lorna x

  4. Oh, my word. You are blessed to have a mom that puts up with biting. Maggie is a nipper, but I would not call her as biter. She gets over-stimulated, sometimes. Chloe Jo can be a biter, when she is sick. But, we do have a water bottle that squirts down acts of meanness! CK, chill. NO BITE! You better appreciate that mama. xo

  5. Do you thrive on human flesh, CK? Well, regardless, your fotos and fill-ins are purrfection!

  6. We usually don't bite, but we would if we had issues like you have with Feedburner. We had problems to get updates from several blogs, that's why we decided 2-3 years ago to follow them via Feedly (and now Leaf) instead of getting emails. Purrs

  8. Great photos, the photo The Lone Star Cats chose is perfect for Tocktober. Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. I am a human and I disappoint me too. I am sorry about your blogging numbers- I bet they are a lot better than mine are though. Have a nice weekend! XO

  10. I'm still getting your notifications ... of course, I'd stop by anyway since you're on my blog roll (I subscribe to your e-mails - but I don't click through - you're on my list of blogs I MUST read so you come up automatically). CK, you and Bear are very similar. Only I call myself Bear's chew toy instead of his teething ring. Bear can be a total sweetheart - but he's awfully bite-y when he doesn't get his way (like when I brush his teeth - and YES, the irony of me caring for the teeth he uses to bite me isn't lost on me). We disappointed in humanity too. I just don't understand all the hatred. I don't understand doing bad things just because you can. I guess I've always figured that if there's something I can do to help someone - even if it's a smile or a joke to make them smile - I don't even think about it - I just do. By the way, I love that first picture of you, CK ... it's one of my favorites!

  11. I came very close to choosing humans as the thing that disappoints me most. I'll make sure we avoid the new food from CHEWY.

    Have a great weekend!

  14. Aw, your #4 is quite sweet! In spite of the biting it's nice to know how much you love your peeps and home!

  15. I haven't logged in to my RSS reader for a while (I don't know if I've subscribed there), but I get your emails. I don't always read the every day, and I don't always click through to the blog when I do.

  16. How frustrating, CK. We're sorry Feedburner is all messed up. We hope that gets resolved soon. We like your fill-in answers, especially number 4. We're glad TW and Pop adopted you, too. Best forever home ever!
