Wednesday Word—PowerBall

Wednesday Word—PowerBall

Is there another word that’s on more human lips in the U.S. today than PowerBall? If you don’t live in the U.S., PowerBall is a lottery game offered in 44 states. At the end of this post, I’m gonna tell you how to up your odds of winning $1.5 billion. By the time you read this, it could be much higher too.

I know all the excuses for not playing and I can tell you why you’re wrong.

Wednesday Word—PowerBall

Wednesday Word—PowerBall

While that may be true for HHGutt and Autumn it’s not true for the millions of cats in shelters and especially those living on our streets. Wouldn’t it be pawsome if someone like you or me won just a fraction of that $1.5 billion and donated a fraction of that to help those strays? UCFCC’s goal over the next 10 years is to raise $600,000 to build a shelter in my community. I could pay for much of that if I won. If you win and decide to keep the moolah—who knows?—you could buy the presidency in four years! How would you spend your winnings?

I know it’s just pie in the sky, as the humans say, but believe it or not, Gramma’s nephew actually hit the Lotto jackpot many years ago. TW doesn’t know him from Adam but if this ghetto kitteh was alive, I’d have found out where he lived and would have been waiting on his doorstep with my paw out.

Wednesday Word—PowerBall

Now I’m gonna tell you the first step in making the dreams of those homeless cats I mentioned above a reality. I’ve analyzed all the most popular numbers (20, 37, 2, 31, 35 and 42) and the states who have the most winners (PA, FL, IN and MO) to come up with my scientific advice which is:

Wednesday Word—PowerBall

You gotta be in it to win it!
All you need is $2 and a dream!

Would you like to comment?

  1. I can't get my human interested in this, for some reason! She says she believes the mathematicians and thinks it is a waste of dreaming.

  6. Good luck to you! We have 5 tickets and would be happy with $1,000 or just even getting our green papers back!

  7. You have a really good point. If we would ever win a big money, there is so much we can do for homeless kitties! Good luck, CK!

  8. Our dad's been playing the last couple of weeks. Mom has all the excuses you listed. She's already told Dad if he wins half of it gets split between our local no kill shelter and the TNR/Rescue group we work with. He's okay with that. Wouldn't it be wonderful if the winner does help save the lives of animals? XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo

  9. We splurged and bought 2 tickets. I would help so many cats and rescue groups with that money. And I know you would too CK and pretty much any of us cat bloggers would.

I would love to see someone like you or I, or many others who need it win! catchatwithcarenandcody

  21. If you win the $1.5 Billion jackpot, you could fund the entire $600,000 shelter and have your name put on it. Stunning Keisha's Ghetto Kitty Care and Adoption Center. And you'd have, oh, about $750 million left over to buy treats & toys.

  22. I didn't win. Which is about what I expected.
