Happy New Year, CK-Style

Happy New Year, CK-Style

It’s the time of the year when soon everybuddy will be axing if I made any New Year Revolutions. My answer is HAH! When you’re stunning and perfect—or perfectly stunning—there’s nothing to improve upon. I may have some revolutions for the peeps coming next week.

Blue Christmas Surprise From Chewy #ad

Blue Christmas Surprise From Chewy #ad

Christmas is as far away now as it ever will be so it’s time to start sharing reviews of some of the loot I found gift wrapped under Fraser. I can’t wait to tell you about my Secret Paws’ package from Spitty that I finally got to open, but let’s take care of sponsored “gifts” first.

Disclaimer: As a member of the Chewy.com Blogger Outreach Program, I received this product in exchange for my fair and honest review. No money exchanged hands (or paws). Chewy is not responsible for the contents of this post. I only share products that I believe in.

The 52th Snapshot of Peace

This is week 52 of the 52 Snapshots of Life photo challenge. I’ve enjoyed participating in this challenge during 2015. What could be more peace(ful) than looking out the window at all my fans and sniffing the great outdoors?

TW’s Coloring Skills

TW’s Coloring Skills

Greetings, furrends! How was you Christmas? Did you catch my DJ shift at the big Twitter #CatmasEve pawty?

My Christmas was hot. TW made Pop turn off the juice for the a/c last month cos it usually is cold in December. Instead it’s been over 70—almost 80 in the condo even with the windows open—and I roasted cos cats can’t sweat. Sure, TW could roll up her sleeves but I can’t roll up my furs.

Merry Christmas, Baby

I wish it could be Christmas every day but not if this is TW’s idea of a Christmas image. Kittehs, look what she did to me! GASP! Then she made yet another image for Tabby Cat Club. Oh, the humiliation! Go to Tabby Cat Club for another humiliating photo.

Cat Claws Subscription Box: The Gift That Keeps On Giving. Win One Here!

Cat Claws Subscription Box: The Gift That Keeps On Giving. Win One Here! #sponsored

Christmas came two weeks early at La Condo Keisha when my December Cat Claws subscription box arrived. I couldn’t wait to open it and neither could TW. Unlike my Secret Paws package that still sits lonely and unopened under the tree, she ripped into our subscription box. OMC! Was it worth it!

Disclaimer: I received a complimentary subscription box from Cat Claws in exchange for my fair and honest review. No money exchanged hands (or paws). Cat Claws is not responsible for the contents of this post. I only share products that I believe in.

Before I get to the spoiler and the giveaway—did I mention I’m having another giveaway?—I’ll refresh your memory about what Cat Claws™ is all about. They were founded in the mid 1980s by Bill and Gale Seliskar after Bill, who owned a corrugated box company, noticed their cats loved to scratch on samples he would bring home. Now you know the origin of the corrugated cardboard scratchers that so many of you love. Bet you didn’t know that. We did cos our Autumn loved those scratchers. TW would buy them in shipments of 10 a few times a year.

Rain, Rain Go Away!

Rain, Rain Go Away!

This is December and to date there’s only been one or two snow flurries. To make up for that, we’ve had rain, threat of rain or clousy* skies practically every day for months weeks. Everyone at La Condo Keisha hates it. Pop hates it cos no one in this area knows how to drive in the rain. His commute takes forever when one or more tubes of the Tunnel are closed due to accidents. TW hates it cos she doesn’t like walking in the rain to run her errands. I hate it cos it puts both peeps in foul moods.

Have Yourself an Artsy Little Christmas

Have Yourself an Artsy Little Christmas

Happy Caturday!! Are you ready for the unveiling of my 2015 Christmas card? I’d hoped to have them mailed out and in everycat’s paw by today but TW is lucky if she’s gonna help me until after Christmas. She hasn’t mailed any of her cards neither; in fact, she hasn’t even received them. HAH! Mr. Zazzle is taking his dear old time.

Let me take this opportunity to thank everyone for the lovely cards they’ve sent—both e-cards and snail mail cards. I’ve loved them all and have gotten waaaayyyy more than the peeps. My furrends are the best looking furrends any cat can have and I have to smile to see your smiling faces on your cards. That’s not to say we don’t love the other cards too. Each will be hung on the front door with love.

Secret Paws Among Friends

Secret Paws Among Friends

Every year the Cat Blogosphere does a Secret Paws that Mom Paula of Sweet Purrfections coordinates. This is our third year participating. It’s like Secret Santa; we don’t know who our package is coming from until we open it. If you don’t already have a cat blog, this is a good reason to start one. We have a very close-knit community of Friends. Yes, Friend is the week’s 52 Snapshots theme. How appropriate at this time of year.

Psst, Wanna Win A Catit Oasis Kit?

You’ve come to the right place!

Psst, Wanna Win A Catit Oasis 2.0 Kit?

You wouldn’t believe what the peeps carted into the condo a few weeks ago! It took both of them to get all the boxes from downstairs. They looked like they were moving someone into the condo but it was stuff that this little ghetto kitteh got to review.

I am the most picky eater known to cat or human. I’m so picky that TW gives me a few green papers and sends me to PetSmart to pick what I like. She trusts that I’m gonna make some healthy choices and now that PetSmart® carries Natural Balance® products, she’s sure of it.

Pop’s Favorite Christmas Toy

Happy Caturday! Now that we have our tree, things are beginning to look a lot like Christmas in La Condo Keisha. The peeps brought Fraser home last weekend. The peeps and Uncle Vince went and picked him up from the train station, The Cat was left alone most of the day. It’s now Day Five and Fraser is still nekkid.

6 Reasons Your Cat Needs #PetGrass #ad

6 Reasons Your Cat Needs #PetGrass #ad

I’m an indoor kitty although in the image above TW has Photoshopped me peeking through some high grass. I know some kitties are allowed to roam outside. This is not something I condone since there are many dangers out there. I’ve been told by some indoor/outdoor kitties that the reason they like to go outside is because the grass is greener on the other side of the door. OK, but there are still dangers if you’re not chowing down on grass your human planted that you know isn't full of pesticides and other poisons. Add to that the fact that due to the drought in California and the chilly temperatures in the northern states, the grass is all brown. Keisha, you ax, where can I find green grass to settle my tummy?

Wednesday Word—Neighbor

Wednesday Word—Neighbor

Yo furrends, join me as we participate in Week 50 of the 52 Snapshots of Life photo challenge. Our mission is to show photos taken by us to depict the word Neighbor. I thought I’d show you some of my feline neighbors. They’re both members of The Alleys, my street gang. I call them my posse so their names have been changed to protect the innocent. You can hover over the pics to find out their duties for the Alleys.

The peeps done me wrong! They were out all day Sunday so I don’t even have a blog post to put up. I’ll bet you missed my wit and wisdom on social media, didn’t you?

What the Heck is Bokeh

What the Heck is Bokeh

Bokeh is this week’s 52 Snapshots’ challenge and, yeah, I had to look it up. The original definition I read described it as blur and if that is right, then TW achieves bokeh in all her photos. Unfortunately for her,  bokeh is attractive blur, not what she takes. I’ll admit that faux bokeh is not one of our favorite effects, however we’ve used it as an overlay in Photoshop (see above) and will no doubt use it again.

Foto and Shopping Frenzy

Welcome to another Friday Frenzy and have I got some great fotos—and narrative—for you! I also have something very special at the end of the post. Foto Frenzy is an almost weekly feature showing you raw foto footage of The Cat. No filters, cropping and the only actions are my own caught on film. Let’s roll!

Phoebe of 15 and Meowing picked foto #2473, which certainly shows me in action. I’m playing with the dangly gold coated string. TW is playing with me while Pop is taking the foto. This is rare cos TW usually does both and I come all motion blurry. Yep, Pop takes better fotos than TW. It’s out in the open now. You can tell I’m talkin' some trash too! I’ve used several fotos from this action shoot on the blog.

Wednesday Word—CatLadyBox

Wednesday Word—CatLadyBox

When TW received the November CatLadyBox, I was all like “ho-hum.” She’d gotten the first one to review a few months ago, and to tell the truth neither of us were overwhelmed. She did love the t-shirt and has worn it many times. Efforts to get me to pose with the box and it’s contents failed. When TW was a teen/young adult, she used to get subscription makeup boxes—two different ones if you can believe she wore makeup—and she so looked forward to getting them. They cost well under $20 and contained almost $100 worth of samples every month. I guess she had impossibly high expectations for the CatLadyBox.
