CK & the Vishus Deer

Some of you might have noticed that I’ve been absent recently. I haven’t been allowed to visit or blog. I was deserted on Sunday. Abandoned. Left alone. The peeps left before dawn and didn’t come back until way after dark. There I was, without food, water, litter box and with no one to bite play with. Oh, is that really an exaggeration, Woman? How about stale food, stale water and dirty litter box. Does that meet your approval, Woman? Not that what you think concerns me.

When they finally came in, you’d think they’d have a treat for me. Maybe some leftover roast beef or steak or even salmon. No, they didn’t. They had plenty of cookies for themselves as if they need any more calories. When I bite them, calories come out rather than blood, for Cod’s sake.

Uncle Kevin thought of me. He sent home a present for me. Isn’t that the pretties kicker you’ve ever seen? The nip is very fresh and plentiful. Still, I’ve resisted the urge to play with it so as not to give TW a photo opportunity.

While they were in the country, they saw some vishus deer! They were in the yard cos they probably thought I was there and wanted to meet an internet sensation. Here are 2 of the photos Pop took with his ipawd. One vishus deer ws right under the window! I’ve Photoshopped them to show how I’d react to seeing those vishus deer.

OMC! Lookit this? Which one is Bambi? I better get out there …

Yo, Bambi! It’s CK! Wazzup dawg, er, deer?

Would you like to comment?

  1. CK, you're lucky you weren't really there with those vishus deers. That Bambi has a mean bite.

  4. That's a pretty cool kicker! ...not exactly roast beef, but it will definitely do in a pinch. ; )

Good thing you don't really have to defend your turf from Bambi. I hear he's got quite a temper.

  5. I think that kicker is pretty nifty! Not so nifty: your humans abandoning you. I think you deserve compensation for your suffering.

  12. If that is indeed Bambi, you might want to get back IN the house, CK. For where there's Bambi, Flower the Skunk isn't too far away.
Your new kicker looks like loads of fun!

  17. Vishus deer are kind of big aren't they? It's a good thing you know how to protect yourself! We really like your new nip kicker. We think kickers are the bestest toys ever! The second bestest toys are mom's hands!

  18. Well, at least the mean people who starved and deserted you returned with something for you. At least you can take out your frustrations on your peeps with your nip kicker. :)

  21. Oh my the peeps can be insensitive! I hope you have already gotten over this trauma!

Cool deers! I've never seen such a big animal before! In my country the deers look a bit different, you know Rudolf the rednosed reindeer kind. But they don't hang around here, they live up North somewhere.

  22. Our constant deserters left us for 48 hours this weekend. Though they left lots and lots of food and water and 5 clean letterboxes, we could not go on the catio, and that sucks. You are sp brave to go right up to those deer and talk to them. Hope your humans plan to stay home indefinitely. We know ours are lost causes. Purrs and hugs, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo

  23. I like that kicker CK. Maybe in time you will too. Sometimes it takes us awhile. BEsides, we don't want to appear too excited in the beginning just to keep the peeps on their toes. Now bout those deer - we don't even get them here - at least not by our house. I hope that one doesn't step on you!!

  24. Ooh CK you DO make us smile. I am Sure they love you and didn't neglect their multimedia megastar blogging kitty! :-)

  25. Pfft. My Human *was* here this weekend, but honestly, I might as well have been alone for all the moaning and groaning and shivering under the blankets she did. I was actually a little worried she might die or sumfing and THEN who would feed me? Oh! Wait...Hmmmm.
